BUILD THE MONSTER!!!
Great trade! Probably wasn't going to find any better value with the 2nd round pick than him. GREAT TRADE! With a pass D of Bethea, Zib, Powers, & Vontae, we can run with the best and that will allow our pass rush to flourish! GREAT TRADE!
-
If the trade does not get us a CB or OL I will be ticked!
-
It's going to be rough for Luck because he is the heir to Peyton Manning and he's Andrew Luck. He'll definitely learn a lot this year about how to throw against the blitz. He better study that playbook even more because he will have to call a lot of audibles to protect himself.
-
I think the problem with Freeney is that the double teams are getting to him. If we are going to move forward with Freeney, we need to come up with some blitz packages that will take some pressure off of him. But in order to effectively blitz, we need good corners, which we don't have.
-
I mean, it's not like he has been trading away valuable picks. I am actually happy that Grigs is active. There hasn't been a move that he has made that I didn't like yet.
-
Erm, 93 short, 90 med, 81 deep, 74 play action, 88 throw on run, power 92. So yeah they are off the charts, especially for a rookie.
Yeah, not 90 in every category but great for a rookie.
-
T.Y. Hilton is every bit as fast as we thought he was.
I think he's too fast lol. It seems like he outruns himself and that causes his drops. When running routes pass 5yds, he needs to slow it down a bit and let it come to him.
-
His throwing stats are off the charts. Doesn't he have 90 or above in every passing stat?
-
WOW! Our CB's are horrible! Yeah, come on over Vontae. I could use you on Madden.
But this is doable. I agree with the ratings for the most part.
-
To quote an ESPN article:
" Later, he tweeted that new Colts general manager Ryan Grigson isn't afraid to roll the dice and that the owner was willing to open his checkbook." (Regarding Irsay)
It's pretty evident that we are trading for a big name and Vontae fits a CLEAR need on this team.

Skip is supposed to be an analyst and he doesn't look any deeper than the average fan. He just gets paid alot more than the average fan.
That's 95% of the ESPN reporters/analyst you are describing.
-
Peyton has always been firey. Nothing really unexpected. Hilarious when him and Saturday got into it.
-
Would LOVE to have Vontae on our team. That's one less position we would have to draft for and he could come in start right away.

Good thing ST is a focus. Definitely could improve both sides of the ball.

If his first fumble goes for 6...
that will be 666...
Then that would mean.....ILLUMINATI!!!!! :heh:
-
Small? 'scuse me? 6'-6" is small for an NBA Forward ... mebbe. At 252 lbs, he'll probably gain a couple ( to a dozen) pounds over his career.
Thats what I was referring to, his weight. Visually, he does not look that big either. He looks almost like a big WR. His height takes away from his weight, if you know what I mean.
-
Fleener is small for a TE and will not become a mauler. He needs to get better at position blocking. It was one run where he didn't drive the guy back but he took him out of the play by cutting him off for 1 second. He would be very effective.

BUILD THE MONSTER!!! FEED THE MONSTER!!!! (new Colts cry?)
-
So far he has been looking. I am not the biggest JH supporter but if he continues to play like this, I might have to become one.
-
LUCK IS THE REAL DEAL!
And good to see our defense actually playing like a defense.
I have changed my position on Jerry Hughes.
Previous Prediction: 3-4 wins to 5-7 wins
I need to see this defense against a high-powered offense before I add any more wins.
-
if this is another concussion he should think about retirement
-
No way we're getting rid of Freeney. It's because of how much he makes is why he will be a Colt.

Meh.

People are complaining about our ratings but the Colts are a solid team on Madden.
