  1. It's going to be rough for Luck because he is the heir to Peyton Manning and he's Andrew Luck. He'll definitely learn a lot this year about how to throw against the blitz. He better study that playbook even more because he will have to call a lot of audibles to protect himself.

  2. I think the problem with Freeney is that the double teams are getting to him. If we are going to move forward with Freeney, we need to come up with some blitz packages that will take some pressure off of him. But in order to effectively blitz, we need good corners, which we don't have. :(

  3. T.Y. Hilton is every bit as fast as we thought he was.

I think he's too fast lol. It seems like he outruns himself and that causes his drops. When running routes pass 5yds, he needs to slow it down a bit and let it come to him.

  4. To quote an ESPN article:

" Later, he tweeted that new Colts general manager Ryan Grigson isn't afraid to roll the dice and that the owner was willing to open his checkbook." (Regarding Irsay)

It's pretty evident that we are trading for a big name and Vontae fits a CLEAR need on this team.

  5. Small? 'scuse me? 6'-6" is small for an NBA Forward ... mebbe. At 252 lbs, he'll probably gain a couple ( to a dozen) pounds over his career.

Thats what I was referring to, his weight. Visually, he does not look that big either. He looks almost like a big WR. His height takes away from his weight, if you know what I mean.

  6. Fleener is small for a TE and will not become a mauler. He needs to get better at position blocking. It was one run where he didn't drive the guy back but he took him out of the play by cutting him off for 1 second. He would be very effective.

  7. LUCK IS THE REAL DEAL!

And good to see our defense actually playing like a defense.

I have changed my position on Jerry Hughes.

Previous Prediction: 3-4 wins to 5-7 wins

I need to see this defense against a high-powered offense before I add any more wins.
