  1. Well just like that, my plans changed for the next month, no more desert “vacation”, so count me in.
  2. Considering the Chiefs are only wanting a day two pick, no way we trade 15 for him. Especially with how the DB market just got flooded in vet players mostly released for cap issues
  3. Yeah. But the results weren’t good, Sanchez was bottom of the league in performance. It’s really not hard to meet that for less
  4. He’s also has had issues getting the ball down in FGs too.
  5. Only different is Sanchez. I think we can get similar production cheaper with a rookie
  6. Kenny Moore is a FA too. All of them being out at the same time has got to drive the price downwards once would think, right?
  7. Not really. They probably had real god information that this would be the end result and thus, held their cards. And what would cutting him now or even weeks ago have gained ? Nothing
  8. Well normally I’d agree but it’s either we pay for some upgrades or try and get them in the draft. In years past, I’ve been on the frugal side, liking the approach of high 2nd tier players. But with a good albeit unproven rookie QB, and given the strength of the division, we need to try and make some bigger moves. Not reckless but more impactful and thus more expensive. Wilkins next to Buckner with Dayo and Paye on either side and Lewis coming in off the bench, that’s a D line that should wreck havoc on most OLs
  9. Wilkins is better than Stewart and doesn’t have the PED concern. That said, I’d take Stewart at 12 million over Wilkins at 18 million BUT the PED thing is a big concern for me simply cause if he gets caught again, it’s a full year suspension
  10. Years of restructuring and kicking the cap down the road finally caught up with them. Saints too
  11. That’s not the only time I’ve seen the day 2 pick being sought. NFL dot com had it a day or so ago at that as well
  12. Yeah interesting. Trade Pittman for Snead straight up?
  13. If the chiefs came calling, I might do 32nd this year plus Snead….
  14. Depends. If KC were to offer me their 32nd pick and say a 3rd this year, I’d take it. I’d then combine that into a package to move up into the top 3 and grab Marv 2.0, or a lesser package to grab Nabers or Bowers, all while hopefully keeping our 2nd rounder. id then try to go about signing Wilkins to replace Stewart. Leaving the only other glaring hole as Moores replacement
  15. The rules says 2 firsts. now, what can happen is that the team that wants him can work with the colts do give up a different comp package. But that’s a trade and sign agreement, not really the same as Pittman bringing an offer sheet and the colts not matching. If it were me, I’d not entertain any offer that at least didn’t include a 1 this year.
  16. Higgins was just tagged as exclusive, a couple RBs were last year.
  17. Yes but it’ll cost two firsts. So oh well. An extra first in this draft would be HUGE.
  18. It’s genius. Someone actually signs Pittman, we got two 1sts, we package those to trade up for Marv 2.0. Problem solved Roughly 5
  19. Tell us you don’t know what the non-exclusive tag does without saying it
  20. I was one of the very few standing up for McNary, the details on that case were very odd and didn’t seem right from the get go.
  21. I agree with you on a player trying to sue the team. I don’t think that would hold. I merely was saying that I think a case would hold against the police or accuser.
  22. Not with the prejudice added. At least it would be extremely unusual based on my experience. typically if a victim recants or doesn’t want to press charges, the charges are just dismissed. Just dismissing the charges would allow the victim and or prosecutors to pursue new charges down the road if the victim later wishes to pursue them again. By adding the “with prejudice” label, the charges for this incident can never be refiled. Usually this is only done if the judge finds that the charges were based in a falsehood and or completely fabricated, OR in some self defense situations.
