  1. your thread from the title on… not to mention not even in the right sub forum but the player you mention doesn’t exist
  2. First things first, long time no see. Hope all is well. Second, you bring up a good point or two. In the end, welcome Latu and I can’t wait to see you on the field
  3. I think he supplants Dayo more than Paye
  4. For the record. I like the production based pick. I like his tape, he wins with a lot of variety of moves. I wanted a playmaking WR but getting the highest EDGE in the draft where without the run on QBs, he’d been a top 8 pick, I’m get the value there. my concern is the injury to the neck. That’s my sticking point. I know some wanted Dallas, he’s a 3-4 OLB and not a scheme fit. And the CBs in this draft don’t impress me at all. Not enough for a first round pick. so really, I don’t dislike the pick, I don’t love the pick but I also don’t like it cause of injury concerns.
  5. Yea and nsurg and his post definitely helped to lower my concerns but the concern still lingers for me.
  6. Latu was interviewed twice last night, once for nfl radio and once on tv, both times, BOTH times he said he never had any talks with anyone from the Colts and had no idea they were interested. To me, that’s telling. Go watch the clips for yourself if you don’t believe me
  7. I’m concerned that they never even talked to this guy. Makes me wonder just how thorough they were on his medical Yes. Paye is just fine. Now with Latu lining up opposite of Paye, look for teams to funnel away from Latu and right into Payes hands. Interesting. Too blurry, what’s it say Well looks like Ballard pleased Jared this time
  8. We tried. It’s been reported we were the highest bidders on at least two FA players and lost both
  9. No honestly don’t. More just wondering out loud why you’d make a post saying you’re leaving yet… here you are. seems sensationalist to me
  10. I think the entire nfl world is. But let’s face it, it’s still Kirk’s team. They just want the kid to ride behind him to learn. Kirk likely retires in two years, this kid takes over and the Falcons have the potential to be good for a long while if either of them or both pan out
  11. Was he the kid that had blood clots show up on his chest X-ray? Can’t remember who that was, I heard it on nfl radio on a road trip last week
  12. The only part of the pick that I don’t like is the injury history. Take that out, I can live with it even though I wanted to see offensive weapons
  13. Thought you announced you was leaving? Why are you still here after creating an entire thread saying you were leaving? How can we trust a person who doesn’t follow through on his words within minutes of posting them? asking for a friend
  14. Ask me this again tomorrow night. My tune may change
  15. Not for a player with a serious neck problem… and this goes against Ballards typical strategy. I felt we needed weapons more than defense. But we’ll see how the rest of the draft shakes out. as of now though, I’m not thrilled with this pick
  16. Only way I’d be happy tonight is if we did that. selecting an injuring prone player in the first round like this is well, bad
  17. Which is the opposite of what most articles were saying. This is also the last year of the extra year for Covid . So that also kept younger underclass man in college this year more so than the NIL money
  18. You’re right. Why am I thinking 15 then. Heck I don’t remember Another 5th this year and a 3rd and 4th next yar
  19. Thanks… did we trade back that year and still get Paye? My concern is the injury history. Yeah it’s been two years. Two years since he was told to retire
  20. No Werner was a project and was taken 2-3 rounds early and only had a year or two of football ever
