I thought league rules kept other teams from poaching coaches for lateral positions. Wonder if his contract with the Colts was up
-
yeah but he's worth it. and really the only vet QB worth trading for. But it'll never happen, not in the division
-
no way in heck am i offering that for Stafford. Not when 3 number ones would get you a younger, better guy in Watson.
-
i dont disagree. my thinking on trying to draft one, assuming you don't give up the farm like the Redskins did for RG3, is that even if they fail, you're not out all the 20+ million. I guess that's my thought process. These guys like Stafford, Fitzpatrick, Carr, Wentz are available for trade/sign for a reason. and are really beat up, Wentz the worse of course, than Stafford and so on. I still think people see what Tannehill has done for TN and they think that any QB changing teams will have a similar result. History is hit and miss on that.

@NewColtsFanto answer your question, again, I don't know. But I do know that trading, signing or otherwise acquiring another aged Vet at QB, one who's been beaten to hell by a crap team isn't a good solution, long term or short term. Signing one would be one thing, but trading for one is giving up way too much, even a 7th for Wentz would be dumb. Stafford, not much better. If Eason isn't the guy, and I have no idea if he is or isn't, then trade up in the draft and lets take a swing that way.

Believe it or not, yep, I only had the nerves hit me like that one, the morning of my last wrestling match my senior year in highschool. I wrestled pretty darn good that day but there was no way I was beating 6 top 10 ranked and undefeated kids to advance to semi state.

Eh Yeah maybe, but the ty we saw the last two years is not the TY that exploded on the league. Speed and losing it doesn’t concern me at all. WRs slow down all the time as they age. Even the greats. TY can still get open. that said, something that has concerned me the last two years with TY and even 2018 with Andrew Luck, TY has been missing catches. Dropping passes he when younger made in his sleep. I’m sure someone will say something about his stat line and what not, but drops are about the most subjective stat out there. Besides the drops, I don’t see him fighting for the ball on

Kind of explains why he broke the new of his retirement thru the San Diego press too. although I might actually vomit if we go get Stanford or wentz

So we got a guy that coached for the putrid and perennial Jags? Yuck -
They held highly publicized and open to the public hearings on it for months

What trade? It’s all speculation at this point

Coaches getting poached from us is worrisome. I hope it doesn’t mean there was some internal strife going on. -
Should the Colts have contracted with Brady instead of Rivers?

Could be a shoot out. I think Tampa’s D is better but should be an interesting game if it happens -

GB choked but once again Brady is on the winning side of a controversial playoff call/no call. -
He no trade clause can be rescinded by his request to a specific team, that’s what they just said during the pre-game before the packers/bucs game
-
I doubt he leaves the Texans for the Jets. He has a clause in his contract, he has to approve wherever they try and trade him too. He’s gonna want to go to a contender not another perennial bottom feeder
-
Man I want Watson bad. I’d sell the farm for him. Watson behind our OL combined with Taylor and Hines would give the chiefs a run for their money. Texans didn’t lose because of him on, they lost in spite of him
