  1. Yes I agree. That said, we had peak Leonard for what, one season? Two tops? it also could be that Franklin likes the position he’s in and wants to make a run and doesn’t overvalue himself. Who knows, either way, it’s a good deal for both, he gets a 300 percent pay raise, the colts get him for 3 more years at what is a fair rate . Win/win
  2. If what OTC is showing, it actually gains us a tad over 1 million this year. @w87r is that accurate?
  3. Really not a bad deal for a guy like Franklin. 12 million average, not sure what the actually cap hit will be but that seems like a good deal considering Leonard was what, nearly 20?
  4. Link me? I didn’t realize he was a FA this year? I thought he was last year? Honestly, it’ll probably be someone none of us expect
  5. This FA class went from being weak to being as loaded a class as I have seen in a few years. Gonna be fun this year no matter how little or how much Ballard does
  6. And there’s seven teams still over the cap. 3 of those will be back under it with relatively less pain. But there are 4, the dolphins, bills, saints and 49ers that are way over the cap by 10 mil or more at this point, after cuts and restructuring who they can(for the most part). There’s a few tricks left they can play yet but I imagine we might see a few more cuts as it appears even with the added cap room, the many years of cap games by those very teams is finally catching up to them
  7. Yes BUT let them waste their cap space on guys like that, means we can focus on the positions we need to and possibly might make getting big Grover back easier
  8. Right, I’m confused why the Patriots would repeat the blunder. Doesn’t make sense
  9. 15 to top 5. Probably need next years first and this years 3rd at a minimum. Probably more
  10. Arch Manning can’t even break into a starting QB role in College. He’s been named back up QB again. I’m not so sure what effect that will have on his nfl aspirations
  11. It would depend on how well or not well Marv 2.0 plays
  12. Ssssshhhh no speaking facts sssshh
  13. “It’s the start of a great year with AR back and (Jonathan) Taylor set to go with a full mindset at training camp,’’ Irsay said. “If Chris (Ballard) can just figure out how to get Marvin Harrison Jr. here, we’ll be set.’’ per Jim Irsay fox59 interview. figured it deserved its own thread
  14. Sounds like he’s still in hospital if I’m understanding right https://fox59.com/sports/hospitalized-colts-jim-irsay-im-doing-great/?fbclid=IwAR2PXYvUhrc73e4FKxL4y_Z_cMQPfwOzUs5aw4EEDUZl03HRgh717zJJGcc_aem_ATWQfx0B_GV6DHc0IelsLrSs9AL7LXyxUOn7AEjObTTG_0DaqUx6xnPCPE-V5HGdiho
  15. At first, I admittedly was concerned. Then I remembered that most of these guys were here and contributed to the losing season that was 2022 and then with the collapse of the 2023 season. we can’t say we want to upgrade our roster and then think we need to resign a majority of the guys who didn’t really play well or show growth. Outside of Stewart and Moore, the other FAs will be easily upgraded/replaced. Only other exception might be Zach Moss.
  16. Yeah. And even worse. If you have to go downtown, get out by 10p at the latest.
  17. How is he against the rest of the league though lol
  18. I have no preference, throw me into the drawing for the colts and if I don’t get that, I’ll take whatever team is left.
  19. Future picks have been problematic in the past in this mock. Similar to player involved trades. that said, limiting it to a single future pick might make things a bit more realistic while limiting the chaos
  20. Well just like that, my plans changed for the next month, no more desert “vacation”, so count me in.
