  1. Legit, he can start for over half the teams in the league. And I’m not a Brissett fan but he’s gotten better and better each year
  2. Sanchez sucks, need to move on. Blackman and Moore I’d like to see back but for the right price. Moss, same but lesser impact
  3. What measure stick you basing that off of? Not saying you’re wrong, I’m curious
  4. How so? Vet minimum is 1.80 million this year… Lewis signed for basically 2 million and change average. Not gonna get much cheaper than that Yep and then there’s always the cap games such as releasing Mo Allie Cox or restructuring this player or that player
  5. My guess is most of these guys wanted to test their market and found that the colts would pay them the best.
  6. Far too early to know. Sit back, grab a bag of popcorn and beverage of your choice and ride the next 45-60 days out. It’ll be a lot clearer then. Ballard always has a back up plan… (Jimmy G is available…)
  7. Bummer but I didn’t expect him back. and that’s a smart move by the raiders. I think O’Connell will beat him out
  8. To be honest, I should have stopped reading when the title was spelled wrong. And badly. Combine that with the punctuation, sentence fragments, run-on sentences and giant paragraphs of opinion. You are entirely right, we don’t know about Richardson yet, but you’ve provided no evidence to support your argument. You’ve stated opinion disguised to look like fact. And for that, I award you the following response:
  9. If you say so. They played in the very same system on the same team. I think he’s slightly better in coverage than Franklin, but I don’t think he’s as good a tackler as Franklin so it might be a wash. But my entire point is that there’s not enough of a talent difference to get me to say the 7-8 million ADDITIONAL in cap space for Bobby is worth it.
  10. Raiders doing Raider things. At least he’s not in the division Talking is fine and dandy but that may not lead to anything. We shall see
  11. Yeah I can’t agree there . Okereke’s cap hit goes up to 15 mil next year, franklins is 7. For less production in every category.
  12. Yeah but look at 2025, 2026, 34 million and 42 million respectively. That’s huge for a team. Keep in mind, theyre gonna be an aging team so all that cap spread like they’ve been doing, eventually will result in a situation like the colts back in 2012, where we were tight against the cap with mostly aging vets on the decline under contract.
  13. Well so far, we’ve yet to overpay for any of the two we have signed. Therefore, you’re wrong already.
  14. Too much. Would involve picks plus lots of cap space to sign him. I’d rather give the picks and trade up for one of the top WRs in this years class and at least be on the rookie pay grade for 5 years I wouldn’t. I said as much in my post. I’m just saying it could have been used elsewhere albeit unlikely due to the numbers
  15. Very close, Sportac has it at 8.44 mill AAV, OTC hasn’t updated yet
  16. Not really. Puts him just inside the top 15 salary wise BEFORE any of the other Lbs get extended or resigned. Which for how he played the last two seasons, is where he deserves. Dont forget, Bobby Okereke with less production got more last year when he left. And Franklin is better
  17. Okay so , we’ll worry about that 3 years from now
  18. So far, Ballard is getting fair deals for our guys, not over paying like he did with Leonard and others. I like the start so far. Same. Now go get an instant playmaker across from him other than Downs and we might have somethjng
  19. Nice!! sucks we had to do the tag, seems like a waste if the deal was agreed too prior. We could have used it on someone else like Stewart(though I don’t think the cost would have been worth it) either way, welcome back Pittman! Marginally, not enough to hurt or help really.
  20. So a very good deal then for the colts.
  21. Yes I agree. That said, we had peak Leonard for what, one season? Two tops? it also could be that Franklin likes the position he’s in and wants to make a run and doesn’t overvalue himself. Who knows, either way, it’s a good deal for both, he gets a 300 percent pay raise, the colts get him for 3 more years at what is a fair rate . Win/win
