  1. Regarding Pittman, I feel the same. I just want a guy who consistently gets open, and catches everything, and can stretch the field. I will say Pittman did get robbed of a flag in the endzone. That facemask was terrible.
  2. Regarding Pierce, I don't see a separation issue with him. He needs to be consistent though. I'm looking forward to some deep balls to him down the field. Just in the plays I saw from the JT Sullivan QB breakdown, he was getting open. Plays just weren't designed to go to him.
  3. They had 2 chances in regulation. A failed fourth down conversion that could have been a FG try, and our last drive that went 3 and out. Still I feel excited about him pushing the ball down field more!
  4. I felt like in the first half, AR was running more, and didn't want to pass it down field. 2nd half though, he really opened up his passing, and he looked great doing it!
  5. AR has only finished ONE game thus far. I would say that is to be expected.
  6. This past game, in the second half, is where they actually opened up the playbook, and one of those big plays was to Pierce, on one of his two targets. He'll get more opportunities to "bust" or shine, in the upcoming games. Like the other poster said, we all have opinions. I'm in the opinion of he's still growing, has been a bit disappointing in some aspects of making tough catches, but will continue to grow, and can still make big plays down field.
  7. I think Henry gets lots of good runs up the middle. Hopefully Buckner and big Grove are good to go.
  8. One thing I'd like for AR to do is throw the ball away instead of running out of bounds behind th LOS for a sack.
  9. https://www.colts.com/ On the front page. He's practicing Wed.
  10. I agree Ogletree has been good. Feed the man. Let him eat!!
  11. I'll add if Richardson continues to play like the 2nd 1/2 QB we saw yesterday, we will continue to surprise people. He made some really great throws out there. I like him on roll outs and throwing on the move. He seems (by my eye test) to be a better passer on the move rather than just sitting in the pocket. Or maybe those are just the more exciting plays.
  12. ?? The only Taylor RB on the team that broke a long run for a TD against the Pats a few years back.
  13. My point was it was exciting game to watch us win. Taylor hit that hole, and it was amazing to me. And yes, go Colts! AR is fun to watch, and hopefully Taylor contributes going forward!
  14. Was he drafted to replace Buckner eventually?
  15. People were complaining about him too (before today). I think he has a great year this year and takes advantage of his snaps.
  16. While I dont disagree with that statement, I'm not giving up on him. Yet. He only had two targets this game, and the one catch was beautiful, but I don't see the recognition for that....
  17. Colts without Manning? ... that's a weak argument.
  18. Truth is, Ballard just got his QB.... as long as it has taken. The next few years will be telling, but I believe Raimann pans out at LT, and we can get that WR.
  19. Re: Pierce, as much as I defend him, I will say my expectatuons for him ARE to be that 50/50 ball receiver, with great hands, but I'm not seeing that so far. I'm not giving up yet though. Today was the first day I saw Steichen open up the playbook a little bit, and he had an excellent down field grab, with his arm held back for 5 yards.
  20. And that game against NE where Taylor ran for that TD....Amazing!!!
  21. I thought the NE win 2 years ago was pretty entertaining, along with that game we won on Christmas with backup o-lineman.
  22. Mallory is fine. Cox and Ogletree just had great games today. Hopefully it continues, unlike with Reich who wouldnt get (Cox) involved in consecutive games.
  23. Stroud top 5 in yards. Pretty impressive. However, I'm happy with AR. He shows grit, and got us back into a game that many fans had written off in the first qtr.
  24. It set the tone for our Team the entire first half.
