  1. not sure if anyone knows what it means . . . I have never heard of the expression . . . I do know that strap can be slang for firearm . . . "straps on" could me he was all over him covering him . . . or "straps on" could be a reference to the straps that hold Gronk's brace on his forearm, the one that Brown broke . . .

This is what I thought he meant when I first saw it, but like you said, who knows what he really meant?

  2. Which didn't happen, but okay.

Why are Colt fans completely misrepresenting what happened? Go back and watch that gif. Brown was holding onto Gronk, too.

I did go back and watch it. Not sure what you're watching. If Gronk did nothing wrong, then why was he flagged? If you were to sit and watch a game with me, you would realize I'm about as unbiased as anyone can be when it comes to penalties. If someone did something wrong, Colt or not, throw the darn flag.

  3. So far out of bounds ? They went down literally 3 yards out of bounds, if that.

3 yards/9 feet, is was far enough out of bounds it drew a flag without hesitation. Again, talking smack is part of the game. Gronk should take out the anger associated with his hurt feelings or whatever on the field, not by shoving a Defensive player into a camera off field.

  4. I am comfirming that I hope loudmouth punk Sergio Brown is soon back on the bench even if it means a return to the steroids king.

I respectfully disagree with your opinion on Brown. Smack talk is part of the game. It happens in every competitive sport all the time. What Gronk did when he hit/pushed Brown so far out of bounds was no less cowardly than a sucker punch. Brown isn't expecting someone to basically assault him out of the boundaries of the playing field. My sister could shove a 250 pound man across the room with momentum and a good angle if the man isn't expecting to be shoved. I suppose Brown hurt Gronk's feelings with some words? That was a ridiculous move and a poor excuse to do it.

  5. This is OUTSTANDING! I don't recall the last time our stats on both sides of the ball were so good. If we can keep this up, we'll be tough to beat in the postseason. A few NFL future odds have us at no 4 for winning the Super Bowl. I realize those are only odds and are affected by many factors, but it's nice to see us as a highly prospective Super Bowl winner.

  6. This guy has lost confidence and is down on himself.  He knows Colts fans are down on him and he goes out and treats the ball like a hot potato. Not good

I feel badly for him. You could see in his face it got to him. I think he'll be good in the long run. Get through this season and get a fresh start at the beginning of a new season. I still believe in him.

  7. We've played so much without both of them, I don't think it matters a whole lot at this point.  Toler was clearly a shell of his former self for the time he played in the KC game.

    This makes sense.

  8. I'm not sure, but I don't recall him playing at all in the KC game.  I know he wasn't in there in the second half.  Haven't been up to watching the first half again!

I know Toler hasn't played for a while, so we have made adjustments there. Was just curious about Moala.

  9. IMO, he played pretty well....when he played.  He hustled and was one of our better DT at rushing the passer.  I'm not sure, but it seems like he missed a bunch of games.

Was he injured in the game against KC?

  10. John Q Smith..........hell I don't know.

What I do know is that Havilli went left/middle and engaged the blitzer and Trent did the playaction, rolled right and ran right by the free rusher. This is something he's done in almost every game.

I believe in Trent, I think he'll figure out the minutia of being an NFL back, but it's coming along really slow.

I do too, it's just taking him a little longer. I think he'll be good in the long run.

  11. i cant help bu tto feel for Manning...he is on the colts of 08 again... a team that relies on him to put up 40 points a game.

that defense is gonna cost them a sb

I was telling my wife the same thing a couple of days ago. Denver's Defense looked so promising last year. I thought this is great, Peyton finally has a very good Defense and prolific Offense, but the Defense if falling apart. The Offense is going to have to carry the Broncos like they did the Colts.

  12. I found myself watching very quietly ....

..To see Peyton get hit and then Andrew get hit....

Every injury was a little painful...Champ and Reggie...made me sad

The crowd was load and great and respectful but all the '18' signs...there was some sad ness there, too

The opening ceremony was simple and touching

I was happy the Colts won,., they needed the victory to take control in the division...

Denver could afford to lose and the Colts outplayed them..

But I couldnt root against Peyton in Indianapolis and I couldn't root against the Colts and Andrew.

    I didn't know how I'd feel......but I watched very quietly...

This is exactly how I watched the game and how I felt. Even today, I'm neutral. I'm not as excited as I should be. It was a weird game to watch.
