With all the reports surrounding Pickens character Colts we’re right not to draft him. If you look at a lot of what he’s doing and staying in Pittsburgh it’s kind of crazy.

To be fair, ball placement wasn’t the greatest by AR. That pass where Pittman went down with an injury, that was a poor pass by AR. There were some other erratic throws.

Rumor has it he’s still chasing that rolling ball of butcher knives.

I think this is largely due to ARs ability to use his legs lol. He isn’t a statue like some other QBs we had back there.

I agree I think Minshew looked really solid after his first drive. If we want any shot at having a decent season he’s our best chance. I understand you invested an early first round pick in AR so playing him early so he gets experience will likely be the outcome.

I made a comment about the early kicking woes in camp and I was told I’m overreacting. I truly hope he turns it around because we need to be making these extra points and FGs. He isn’t looking good right now.

I assume AR plays a half , Minshew plays a quarter and Sam plays a quarter.

Our current CB’s scare me, I truly hope that JuJu has some sort of Tariq Woolen or Sauce Gardner type of rookie season because we truly need a guy that can play lockdown on an island for Gus’s defense to truly flourish.

I believe Downs has been fielding kicks and punts in camp he could take that role. He is very shifty in the open field.

A rookie QB, our best offensive weapon (JT) potentially not playing this season. An inexperienced secondary. Is a recipe for a top 5 pick season.

Hunt may come cheaper , and is a pretty solid pass catching back.

He didn’t want to go through another rebuild, he wants to play for a contender. Hence sending him to Dallas. Because New England was in the fold as a trade candidate for Gilmore but they are no where near SB contention.

I think everyone is misinterpreting the money portion. They offered him a better sheet than the Saints. Doesn’t necessarily mean more than JT or that JT is gone. This could actually mean that JT isn’t as healthy as he’s been leading everyone to believe and may not be ready week one.

Hoping to hear some news about Titus Leo has he shown any flashes?

Solid pickup and he just so happens to be pretty good at receiving as well.

Does everything that happens in camp / practice not translate into the game come regular season?

Im not saying he isn’t human, but I would like to see consistency from someone who received a substantial pay day. We were thoroughly screwed in games last season due to performance out of our kicker. I don’t think expecting a guy of his caliber to be able to nail a 48 yarder is a crime.

All the money that was invested into him. I think the expectations are he should be nailing the 48 yarder. It’s still early so I expect improvement but with the kicking woes we have experienced I would hope it’s not a common occurrence.

Agreed but guys should be able to show flashes in 7 on 7 etc, that’s the weakest unit IMO so I’m pretty curious as to who’s standing out.

Any updates from the DBs outside of Kenny Moore? That is the position group that I’m most interested in hearing about.

He’s played well on the outside when the opportunity arose. Height is not the end all be all. Denzel Ward who is considered a top 10 Corner in this league is 5’11 Rodgers is 5’10. Kenny Moore was slated to start at Nickel no way Rodgers wins that role over Kenny. Now I will say that I do think that Colts had all the intentions of letting Moore play out his contract and letting him hit FA at seasons end and sliding Rodgers into the Slot role the following season. But with the recent suspension idk how that will all pan out come the offseason.

If not for the suspension Rodgers would have undoubtedly played outside, so how did you have Rush and Flowers pegged as starters since the draft?

No Ju Brent’s is discouraging he needs to be getting as many reps as possible.
