  1. I don’t think his tweet eluded to that tbh. It could very well have been Shaq who requested his release.
  2. I could be completely wrong, but the way Shane was just so ambiguous with his responses to the media when asked about Woods it just made me wonder.
  3. I don’t think they ever intended for Woods to come back and play this season. I almost think they strung his injury situation out with complete intent to keep him off the roster and from being from being cut. After this season MAC can be cut saving the team almost 5 million dollars. So Woods will return and likely have an active roster spot next season.
  4. If you aren’t convinced he will still healthy you want to move him to another position where he is sure to take far more punishing hits? That seems extremely counter productive.
  5. That would be a terrible move. Why move him to another position if he plays QB? Why not trade back and gain draft capital or get a premier player at that pick? We have SEVERAL guys in expiring contracts, we don’t know if Pittman is returning, Moss or if they want to extend Kenny. I could be wrong but I do believe Grover is also do for another contract as well as Buckner. You have to think about drafting replacements and upgrades as well.
  6. As of right now the major need is in the secondary, we need another legitimate CB. I will admit that I was SUPER hard on fries initially. Although his play isn’t elite by any means he is currently serviceable.
  7. I’m gonna address it this way Offense: I’m gonna say Pittman. Leading the team in Receiving Yards and touchdowns. He’s consistent and he’s getting those dirty yards. Defense: Buckner. He’s leading the team in sacks has established a dominant interior presence even with the absence of Big Grover. (Honorable mention Zaire, he’s a tackling machine and is setting the tone on defense he’s leading this defense right now. Also leading the NFL in tackles I believe he was on pace to set the NFL record for most tackles in a season).
  8. He had a lot of incentive with his family in the stands. They should come to every game moving forward lol.
  9. If they were going to make a move it would’ve happened by now, so I’m not holding my breath tbh.
  10. I agree. I just think that has to be the only logical explanation as to why they haven’t made a move yet. The entire world knows we are super thin at CB.
  11. I think they are content with letting the youngsters play. To gain experience, after all this is a throw away season.
  12. I agree, if they are able to get atleast a 4 for him you pull the trigger. He’s a FA this offseason, I just don’t see the Organization making the mistake and over paying two backs. I’m sure after the season that Miss has had he could easily say I’ll test out FA. Might as well get something for him now.
  13. They have received several calls about a trade for Moss
  14. He wasn’t let go he was traded. He actually requested the trade. So Gilmore no longer wanted to play here.
  15. More than just fan speculation tbh. Rumors for sure but beat writers seem to be all over it as well. https://www.profootballnetwork.com/zack-moss-trade-rumors-buccaneers-cowboys-browns-nfl-2023/
  16. No you don’t Draft another RB. Hull will be back next season, and they are really high on him. So he steps in to replace Moss. The pick can be used to trade up or used to address other positions of need.
  17. While I do agree with you (that there is no one proven behind him). You just don’t pay someone that amount of money to split touches with another guy. We may very much so keep Moss and I wouldn’t be upset at it, he’s played VERY well. I just gave my unpopular opinion, I could easily see him being shipped off somewhere else for a mid 4-5 round pick.
  18. As I said with another poster, we can agree to disagree. With Taylor back Moss can easily be expendable. If draft capital is available in return I can easily see them moving on. I also believe Moss is in a contract year as well.
  19. Well the thing is team officials are not supposed to publicly speak on those conversations with the league. Hopefully Irsay speaking on this doesn’t negatively impact the organization. But I am hoping an expanded play review system will come from this because they really screwed those two calls up.
  20. No way he’s in the conversation, I don’t think the Colts would invest a pick in Bowers he’s likely going in the first round potentially early second if he slides for some reason. With all the draft capital the Colts Invested at the TE position over the past three drafts I highly doubt they take a TE that high.
  21. Just means the guy is raw, isn’t too refined. It’s not meant to disrespect him.
  22. He’s an athletic freak, 6-3 210 pounds and runs a 4.34 forty. His tape is very underwhelming tho, he doesn’t look very physical and lacks willingness to tackle. Has somewhat fluid movement from what I can see. Very Raw. Definitely a project player will likely see special team reps. Would’ve like Darius Rush back tho atleast he is familiar with the defensive scheme.
  23. I would disagree because there was uncertainty on Taylor’s health. A lot of organizations wasn’t sure if he was healthy and the said asking price was too high. If they could get a mid round pick for Moss I think that would be a solid deal for the Colts. With the way that Moss has been running and catching the ball I could easily see someone being interested in him.
  24. No because by the time he comes back he’d have played enough games to satisfy his minimum requirements to his contract guarantees
