Think we need to drop a WR or two from the PS (we’ve got 5 on there) and add some OL to develop. I saw that the Cardinals claimed O’Donnell off waivers yesterday. I bet we figured we could stash O’Donnell on the PS, but we figured wrong.

For who? What? That's some specialist if he's going to be on the field for all four of the blitzes Gus will call this season.
I see that our roster does list him as a 225 lb LB. He weighed in at 236 lbs pre-draft, and often listed as a DE/EDGE. I’m thinking old school, 3rd down pass-rush specialist…

I don't know of any team that stays with 4wr. I don't expect we will
Well, we’ve got 5 of them on the PS. We can elevate one on Sundays if need be…

I have noticed some players have beef put on IR today from other teams. I wonder why they didn’t wait until after 4pm. If they were all season ending they didn’t have to wait until today.
Maybe they were told they’d be IRed and said so on social media…or they were put on season-ending IR…

At 4:01 today, teams can move players to the IR and have it be non-season ending…
-
I’m also kind of wondering whether Fries heads to the IR. We have a lot of OL right now…

So we now only have 3 receivers on the roster? I’m assuming some additions are coming soon.
I predict Woods to the IR, and McKenzie back to the active roster…

I have not been able to find a live waiver wire tracker
I think they’ll all get announced tonight when they become official…

It isn’t like fantasy football, bears have the 1st choice on every player that was waived. Colts are 4th.
Yep, Bears will get whatever players they want, and then the Texans get whatever players they put a claim in for that Chicago didn’t already take…

I think the injury to Woods saved Cox bacon. For now
I agree. I think Woods is going on the IR, and MAC (for all his lack of receiving production) has the blocking chops to help AR run the system we have planned for regular season (whatever that may be)… -

Not sure if already mentioned, but Rams cut their 2022 3rd pick Logan Bruss g/t wisconsin. Tore his ACL last year, but generally viewed as a good RG prospect. Seems like someone Ballard would be interested in.
I’ll add Trystan Colon, C/OG, cut from NYJ.

Assuming he is not injured, trade him. The guy stated that he doesn't want to play for the Colts. We shouldn't be holding anyone captive who doesn't want to be a part of our team. We sure did a good job of demanding a number one pick for him. Congratulations! That has left the Colts with what exactly? He is of no value to anyone sitting on the frickin PUP list. Furthermore, the problem/distraction still remains for the team. Can't wait for someone to try to convince me that this was all a part of Ballard's master plan to make this team a contender. You know it's coming.
He’s also of no use to anyone if he won’t play on his current contract. This entitled…man?…is going to earn $4.2MM pretending to be hurt. And also somehow complain that he’s underpaid on the PUP. Reminds me of people who use all of their sick leave, even though everyone knows they’re 100% healthy…

Melvin Gordon just released by the Ravens........Will JT play or not since it doesn't look like he is getting traded today?
He of little faith! Trade in 3….2….1….

Probably. If I had to guess, Taylor's not getting traded then and not put on PUP. Doubt Moss is healthy with the broken arm.
I think that if Moss is close, we could cut down to 3 RBs at final cuts. Elevate a RB from the PS week 1 if Moss doesn’t quite make it…

I have us at 64, if you don’t count Pinter or Taylor. The 64 does include Dabo, though, who I think we can keep on the PS for another year as a 17th member…

Funk apparently waived (from atozsports tracker)…

New Orleans release Bradley Roby. I think he goes to waivers. Maybe he can replace Kenny Moore next year if we can’t resign
He can be signed now if anyone wants him- no waivers for long time veterans…

So, is a theme here is that none of the project WRs Ballard has picked after the second round have worked out? All of them are gone.
True dat. But Belichivk did it with 1st and 2nd rounders…so, there’s a win for us in our rivalry, right?

Which mean some of these vets were cut with the intention of bringing them back. It’s just so they don’t lose any young guys to the waiver wire.
Yes
Idk, man,!I think we may just keep the young’uns on the active roster instead of veterans to avoid risking leaving them on the PS…

Me too. Can’t quite figure why we kept French instead of O’Donnell. I’d think Carter could back up the Center position by now…
