I think Rogers is a lock. I the last training camp video they showed Rogers a lot and pascal. They love they Rogers is dependable.

Yeah, I thought Rogers was looking great for the #4 spot a week ago, but Fountain and Cain went crazy at practice.  Haven’t heard of any splash plays from Rogers all TC - I think it’s slipping away for him...

  2. That offensive line is impossible to guess.  We practically get no info except who’s running with what team, and we know they’re gonna mix and match experimentally during TC.  That being said, i’ve got:

    1) Andrews and Garcia instead of Boehm and Barton on OL.

    2) Hentges at TE.  That’s not many differences on O.

    3) Sheard goes to IR after making initial cut.

    4) Keep Ward.

    5) Adams gets cut and we go with 5 LB.

    6) Keep Hairston.

Other than that, I’m exactly on the same page.

Same the dude is a wonderful blocker and he has HUGE hands should be a very good TE with time honestly.

I would have Mo Cox as next on my wish list for an extension if I was GM.  He, Doyle, and Ebron are all FAs after this year, but Cox is the one I’d want to extend immediately...

Isn't that the guy who whipped Brady into form after his knee injury?

Yeah, and the same guy who helped Luck out of his shoulder problems.

Sorry, Fist, you beat me to the Post button...

  5. Gosh, it’s gonna be hard to cut this WR corps down to 5 or 6.  Fountain and Hogan coming in hot today.  Cain started very well, but a really bad day today.  Pascal running hot and cold.   Rogers has been quiet, but probably the best return man.  Johnson has had his moments.   Even Veasey and Dulin have looked pretty good.   Gonna be a hard call.   CB corps won’t be much easier.

This may be a situation to watch.  If Banogu continues to impress, and Turay shows enough improvement, and with the addition of Muhammad and Houston, the 9-year veteran Sheard may become expendable.  Especially if Ballard wants to keep 4 RB's, 4 TE's, and 6 WR's on the roster.

Hate to say it, but Sheard’s Been my surprise cut all off-season.  Tough cut, bc he’s a hard-working team captain.  But youngsters of the future Turay, Muhammad, and Banogu need reps!

Anyone know if Shakial Taylor has beef with Parris? I like the attitude hes bringing to try to make the team, but its like hes head hunting and Parris is his only prey. Much props to Parris in not retaliating though. Most people would be upset with that after it happened on more then one occasion.

Just checked their backgrounds - they shouldn’t have crossed paths much.  Shak from Florida and Parris from Akron.  Maybe it’s a lightly recruited speedster (seriously, Shak is super fast too) being jealous of the heavily recruited one.  Or, more likely, it’s just coincidence that Parris has been the target...

It's over Rodney, it will either be us or the Chiefs this year.

Lol.  You think I’m taking 42-YO Tom Brady on the decline over Andrew Luck in his prime?  You think I’m taking that tired old-butt Patriot team that just lost many of its bast players over the great Colt team with, young genius coordinators?

I cannot believe how dead it is here. This is usually the most active time on the forum

I'm alive and here!  Just enjoying the thread!  Most pleased and surprised with Cain's fast start.  Hope I was wrong about him being on the outside looking in to begin camp...

  10. Happy to have Drew Lewis on board.  I didn’t see us drafting LBs high this year (boy, was I wrong), but Drew was 2nd only to Ulysses Gilbert on my late-round LB list.  Great workout, and he fits the system perfectly.

Leonard is hillarious. Earn a starting job lol. Glad to see Fountains injury not bad. He has worked really hard.

Can’t find anything about Fountain’s injury.  Where’d you hear it was not bad?

Love Tommy boy, but actually it was a quote from Naked Gun.  Might be a paraphrase...been a long time since I saw that film.  Wonder what happened to some of those actors in Naked Gun.  I remember a promising young actor,,,OJ something.  Haven’t seen him in anything recently...
