Wow a LB covering a RB out of the backfield and a loss of yards.. who would have thought?

Finally

Again all these athletic LB's and they keep playing a "spot"... that defense is going to be on the field a lot in the second half until they let them man up on guys out of the back field

RBs out the backfield forever our weakness
Well when the LBs drop 20 yards down field I would keep throwing it underneath too

Leonard again..

When haven’t I? I’ve said it was incidental. I get the rules but if you call it for that in the name of safety but let lineman rip helmets and RBs to get hit in the head every play, comes across hollow
It was when contact happened that matters.. McDonald was falling, not "churning his legs" as you kept saying. The right call was made and Leonard needs to be better

And how many times have we seen players slip a tackle? JB with Von Miller last week.
So you acknowledge the helmet to helmet contact?

Yep. Receiver still moving and churning his legs. Incidental contact. But hardly “blasted” like you so dramatically tried to make it seem for some reason
You might want to rewatch the play... Leonard made helmet contact as McDonald was falling backwards. Incidental or not that's going to be a penalty period. Leonard should have been better

Come on.. play wasn't whistled dead. Bad bad reffing.
It was the helmet to helmet hit

Leonard has to be smarter..

Good god can we play the LB's any softer in coverage?

That throw Hoyer just made is a throw Brissett probably would not have even seen.
I literally said the same thing after Hoyer threw that pass..

Colts need to claim him if he falls, IMO.
For what? He still can't catch...

Believe its Samuels, played ball at OSU? Not %100 though. If he is from OSU, good chance he gets hurt also, we will see RB4 n 5.
Wow....
No, it's not Curtis Samuel, as he plays WR for Carolina. A quick, and I mean quick, search would have netted you Jaylen Samuels, who is not hurt, and he played for NC State...

Welp... it's all a moot point now, anyway. My Irish got absolutely embarrassed in Ann Arbor last Saturday.
Only pride to play for the rest of the way.
It will be interesting to see how Brian Kelly finishes the season. There's talk of replacing him with Urban Meyer in the offseason...
As a Buckeye fan I'd be fine with Urban going to ND, but it sounds like USC is going to try and do everything it can to land him.

Yeah the last time we picked up a HoF WR’s kid , it didn’t work out so well...
Who was also supposed to play for OSU, but decided school wasn't important..

Not the Cuse. That would have been a good story.
There aren't any Donovan McNabb's going through there anytime soon.. OSU will be a hotbed for QB's from now on with Ryan Day there so Jr will be on a title contending team with great QB play. It was a no brainer for him.

Well Herbert finally won a big game this weekend vs Washington on the road and he threw for close to 300 and 4 TDs(0INT) but I actually liked Eason better in this game. He was accurate, he made good decisions and he showed better arm than I remember him showing before. This class could be really really good QB-wise if Eason decides to declare, too.
That's not a very high bar... I'd look more at how he performed in the Auburn game. It looks like they may end up being the Pac-12 rep in the Rose Bowl and will get 1 of Wisconsin, Penn State, or Ohio State. Herbert will have his hands full with any of those 3 and that game will be one to look at him closely as well.
I think Kyle Trask could be a really good QB to bring in and develop if he declares. 6-5 240 and has done well in taking over in Florida.
