Hunt is better as a DE. I think we might see that.

No he's not. That's why he was released from Cincy because he wasn't good outside and they never gave him a shot inside like the Colts did.

    Is Justin Fields draft eligible?

With Joe Burrow starting to light it up, there are now 4-5 decent round 1 QBs that might be available for the Colts to draft (If things dont go so well with JB)

Being a Buckeye fan, and I know you are too, Fields isn't ready yet. For the complaining that JB gets for holding onto the ball, Justin is worse. I figured with how Ryan handled Haskins last year and getting him to get rid of the ball quicker, that would have translated well over to Justin, but I haven't seen it. Once he gets really tested, or they have to play from behind late in the game, I don't think he will handle it nearly as well as Haskins did. Again, another year for Justin would do him well, but I can see him leaving for the NFL as he'll be 21 in March.

I'd like to see Dobbins in this offense. He's a bigger version of Hines and could steal carries/touches away from Mack.

I love his breakdowns,   but is his pronunciation of nyheim hines correct?  Because it bugs me.   Not sure why.   I'm not an OCD in the least.   But when he says nyheim hines, I cringe

I think its just a nickname ("NyNy") he's given him...

In past years this would be the type of talent Ballard would likely attempt to acquire on the cheap and add depth.

With the depth in the defensive end position group I doubt we'd even bat an eye at him as I don't believe he is better than what we have!

    Thoughts?

Marinelli couldn't even help him, so I think that tells you all you need to know about Taco..

and? they obviously weren't need for him to be successful. and why would he trade JB if he was destined to be this great franchise QB when Tom was at the age he was at. if JB is as great as hes touted here there would have been a 0% chance BB trades him.

Because Belicheck also had Jimmy G at that time?

Sorry, I am not up on this.....

Is there a cash $ number limit, or is it unlimited to what the Colts can pay someone on the PS?

    Delete.... found this

"Practice squad players can be paid any amount by teams as an incentive to not sign to another team’s roster. The contracts do count towards the team’s salary cap"

So.... if he signs, can he change his mind later this year?

Just to clear this up, the team signs the player. The player really doesn't choose and sign himself to a team. I'm pretty sure that if a guy is signed off another teams' PS he has to go to the 53 man roster for that week.

Been thinking about this even before Ebron's TD yesterday.  Why isn't the shovel pass a more common play?

Teams will run toss plays all the time and if the back doesn't catch the toss it's a fumble.  Shovel pass it's just incomplete.

Seems like a low risk extension of the run game

Dallas was on the receiving end of these a few times with Peyton.
