That's Atlanta for ya....they do not know how to close games. Don't help either when your coach is Mike Smith that thinks every single play should be a pass. He got out coached bad in this game, as predicted.

The Falcons cannot win with an aggressive team that punches them in the mouth. If Matt Ryan had won that game, the monkey would have been lifted from his back, now it jumped right back on with a tighter grip.

You are right southwest. He did not deliver in the second half of the game at all. Too many people do not deliver lately IMO though in big games. Sigh.

Have you ever heard the Wailing Souls? If you like Marley, they would be right up your alley. Michael Prophet is another good choice. I don't know Reggae that well, I picked up on those by accident a few years back.

Marley's son Steven is a fantastic guitarist and singer.

Latin eh? Carpe diem? The original source for this Latin phrase is the lyric poet Quintus Horatius Flaccus (65 BC – 8 BC), more widely known as Horace. The term is first found in Odes Book I:

      "Dum loquimur, fugerit invida

Aetas: carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero" which translates as: "While we're talking, envious time is fleeing: pluck the day, put no trust in the future." Okay, I got nothing. Ha! Ha! :D

I listened to Motley Crue's "Shout At The Devil" album on CD, vinyl, & cassette once & they all sounded completely different even though they were the same arrangements note for note. It's like claiming that a studio recording & a live recording of the same material is identical. It's not.

Shout at the devil!!!!!! Love it.

True that, cds are getting so much cheaper in recent years you can pick some up at times more easily then the old days.

A few were more expensive though like when I got the New Order "Substance" album.

Did you ever catch a TV show called Jazz Scene USA from the 1960's? I don't know if the show was broadcast in America or Europe, but ever since I seen this clip of Barney Kessel on there, I've been so curious

Bogie- I looked up Jazz Scene USA and found out it was a US TV show from 1962. It was a Steve Allen production and made 26 shows. There are some of those avalible on DVD.

  8. With 9 seconds to go in the AFC Championship, Moon in the shotgun, 4th and goal from the Indy 5 yardline, takes the snap, TOUCHDOWN. 24-24. OT commences....Oilers win the toss, 3 passes put them to the Indy 45 yardline, Del Greco to kick them into the big dance, and it's wide left! Jeff George marches them down the field on 7 plays and Biasucci kicks the game winning FG from the Houston 20, and the Colts are in the Tecmo Super Bowl!

Unbelievable...Boston gave up 72 points in the first half. lmao

      Down by 40 points :excited:

And no, I don't pity them for being a historic team and the "worst beat down at home in the playoffs" tear jerker fest. They get no pity from me. It's like when people cry over Pittsburgh's historic home losses, who cares? Look how many championships these teams have.

LeBron didn't even finish for MVP in the awards. It's going to be Westbrook, Leonard or Harden. Talk about a f'ing tragedy when LeBron is a killing machine in the post season.

  10. 93-1 is the record of playoff teams with a 19+ point lead going into the 4th quarter. Congrats Falcons, that is a record reserved for you and you only! And in the Super Bowl of all games! RISE UP AND CHOKE!

      Sorry I had to. lmao

But, you still never had "the collapse" so the Falcons got the biggest eggs on their faces of all time here.

And yeah I am sick of hearing about play calling too.

Also one more thing I heard some saying HOW COULD THEY BEAT ATLANTA, the same ATLANTA WHO BLEW OUT THE PACKERS.

No it's true, people are still fawning all over the Packers as if Atlanta beat "God."

    3. Jules

The Patriots will be the team to beat until Brady and Belichick retire, they really always have been since 2001 after they won their first SB. That team could have 10 SB Titles had it not been for Eli's Giants stopping them twice and 3 of Peyton's teams stopping them. I wonder if Falcons fans are ready to jump off a cliff yet? Up 25 points and cant close, SB Rings don't grow on trees. I am not sure what is worse, the way Seattle lost 2 years ago or the way the Falcons lost.

Fun note - Out of the Past was supposed to star Bogart. He was locked into a contract at the time with Warner Bros so he couldn't do it. Mitchum was Bogart's own choice to do the film, and he pushed him to do it. Robert Mitchum was a pair with Jane Greer. Don't know how it would have worked out with Bogie, but it's still a fine movie.

CBE, speaking of Return Of The Jedi, that was the coolest movie experience I ever had in the theatre because the whole crowd went awe when the baby ewok popped it's head out of the basket & cheered loudly when the 2nd Death Star blew up on screen. I got goose bumps from the collective bonding session.

I wouldn't feel bad about bandwagon rooting for any NBA team. Most NBA fans are bandwagon fans who follow a key player.
