  1. First off, Minshew is not terrible. He’s a backup pressed into starting duty. He had limitations, but he’s one of the top QB2 in the league.
  2. Shane is responsible for Minshew being on the Colts. They were together two years in Philly.
  3. The Colts actually blitz more than fans think they do. Bradley was talking about that this week in his weekly interview with the media.
  4. Let me give you a compliment…. If someone had told me about that post, without telling me who wrote it, it never would have occurred to me that you wrote it. You’re a smart guy and a good poster, but everyone makes a bad post, everyone. It’s the nature of internet message boards, it comes with the territory. And I’ve made some REALLY bad ones. What? Was? I? Thinking? We all make bad posts, and you just did. I can think of 100 other posters who I would not be surprised if they wrote it. Honestly, it’s beneath you. It’s the viewpoint of a frustrated fan — nothing more. Hold yourself to a higher standard. All my comments should be viewed as compliments to you. Honestly.
  5. The Colts with Minshew rarely throw further than 10 yards down field. The Colts try to get the ball out fast!
  6. See what happens when you don’t trade away players who have a bad season? How many people here wanted Moore traded after last year? A lot. Those people are much quieter now.
  7. I think he got fired by Indy because the loss to New England was such a disaster. Irsay called Saturday during the game and screamed WHAT HAPPENED TO MY OFFENSIVE LINE?!? Irsay threw a tantrum and Frank got fired. I didn’t think Frank would last the season, but I didn’t expect him to be fired after that game. That loss was entirely predictable. Frank had some good seasons and the haters have forgotten them. Even in the chat room today, I see people commenting that the Carolina offense sucks and Frank is responsible for it. Except he’s not even calling the plays, the Panthers OC calls the plays. But Frank still gets blamed. Like I said, the hate is almost comical. Sad to me.
  8. You think we both can agree on this? Seriously? Not at all. Sorry. Frank got hired by Carolina and no one in the NFL batted an eye. Only the fan base who by the end hated Frank’s guts. The hate has become almost comical to me. Honestly.
  9. Frank has always had a good reputation throughout the league…. Even if the fan base hated his guts at the end.
  10. Hust noticed there are only roughly 25 fans here today. That’s about half of what we normally have. How sad….
  11. Are you out of your mind?!? You think Shaq’s issue is that he needs a DC to put his foot up his rear? Dear God, that’s an embarrassing take.
  12. Dude…. I made it about you because you were talking about AR and it was my view that your view would be better if people knew you were not a AR fan. Now you’re trying to insist that you are. I simply tried to remind you what you’ve said in the past and now you’re saying this doesn’t add up for you because of how you approach this website. I don’t know why you felt the need to tell me about Levis, we’ve never mentioned his name in any exchange. But you did. So we’ve gotten no where fast.
  13. 100 percent, thanks! I’ll be writing a post about linebackers for the bye week. A good time to get some unique conversations in the middle of the season.
  14. The Colts executives are in order… Chris Ballard, Ed Dodds, Morocco Brown. (Did I get Brown’s name wrong? Entirely possible in my current state, but he’s third) He was charged with following Richardson every week of his last year at Florida. By the way, that was a nice bit of deflection and making this about me. I guess part of the reason I remember so many of your posts is that you have VERY unique opinions. That works for you and against you. They tend to jump out. I keep no records, though many times I wish I did.
  15. Ok…. For the FOURTH TIME, What in the world has made you do a 180 on Ballard? You’ve completely flipped. You’ve stated for months you were going to lay off Ballard, that you knew this was going to be a rebuilding type of year, and then a few weeks ago, you snapped. You and I have exchanged several posts since then and you have yet to answer this question. The season is going roughly as expected and yet you’ve flipped. Why? By the way, concluding nearly six years after the fact that Ballard should be blamed for wanting to hire McDaniels is the very text book definition of benefiting from 20/20 hindsight. Congrats.
  16. Do you know WHY I see you as someone who is NOT an AR fan? Because you heavily criticized every reason the Colts gave for taking him. Morocco Brown called him a unicorn, you mocked that. Brown also said AR got more magical fairy dust to give him Superstar potential and you mocked that as well. You actually wrote a post that it was Brown and NOT Ballard who decided to draft Anthony Richardson. As if Brown has that kind of authority. And when you were making all these negative comments, I don’t recall anything positive about the Colts taking AR. If you did, I missed it. So if I see you as someone who is NOT an AR fan it’s because you’ve given me pretty good reason to think that. When I talk about you being passive-aggressive and agenda driven, this is just the latest example. I like you Doug, but this response is a head scratcher for me.
  17. For what it’s worth…. Woods spent his first three years at Oklahoma State as a blocking tight end. He didn’t become more of a receiving tight end until his senior year when he transferred to Virginia. So Woods is very capable of being a blocker if need be.
  18. Just out of curiosity, have you mentioned anywhere that you’re not a fan of AR and opposed the Colts drafting him? In the interest of fairness, that would be Full Disclosure.
  19. Mayo! Thanks, I knew there was another name I was forgetting. I doubt Saban wants back in the NFL, especially at his age, and especially following one of his closest friends, Belichick. But Mayo is a great call by you! Appreciate it!
  20. It’s a needless threat. It doesn’t help matters. It’s something fans may want, but I seriously doubt Irsay would do it. Ballard knows full well he could be fired at any time. His seat is hot. If Irsay can fire Frank as he did, he can do the same to Ballard and Ballard knows it.
  21. You think Ballard doesn’t know his team isn’t very good? Goodness. First, this year is by design, as I’ve been stating almost this entire calendar year. Second, I’ll predict the team takes a more aggressive approach next year. Maybe not a lot more, but certainly more aggressive than this year and maybe even most years. And I’d add, I think Ballard knows he’s got no more than two more years (24, 25) to produce a much better team. I believe Ballard knows he’s sitting on a very hot seat. Irsay may love him, but if Irsay can impulsively fire Frank as he did, he can do the same with Ballard too.
  22. Yes, I think that’s possible, but Kraft might be pretty cautious to hire JM as the next HC. It’s one think to hire JM as an OC, but HC? So soon? I think Kraft would be extra extra careful about that. I think other people who could be candidates would be Bill O’Brien, Denico Ryan in Houston, and maybe even Mike Vrabel. Just thinking out loud.
  23. My initial reaction is….. doubtful, but not impossible. He might get the Patriot job, but I’m not sure it’s that cut and dry. Otherwise, I don’t see another franchise being interested in him until he goes a long time again as an O-coordinator with great success. Success might be the only thing that gets the awful stink off him. as for who else should be notified among posters…. How about this name? @Superman
