  1. It’ll be interesting to see if the Colts put in a claim? I’m not predicting one way or another, I realize there are a lot of roster gymnastics that have to happen. KC may be hoping to re-claim and stash Rush on the PS. Still, it’s something to keep an eye out for.
  2. Here’s something for you and everyone that agrees with you. And you don’t have to go far to find it. It’s right here on Colts.com, free to all. Click on the team, then click on the roster, then click on Pierce’s name. You’ll see the guy you hate (your words) had a really good rookie year. (Not that you noticed). 41 receptions for 594 yards. A 14.5 yards per catch average. That’s basically 2 full yards per catch better than any year Pittman has had. He’s raw, he should get better. I’m sorry you missed Pierce’s rookie season. I’m just not surprised. Slanted viewpoint: Check Allergic to facts: Check
  3. To be clear, you were called out by me because you posted that you hated Pierce on the day he was drafted. I think you view everything about Pierce through that viewpoint. You can check all the boxes you want, but I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. You’re entitled to any opinion you want and I’m sure some here will agree with you, I just won’t be one of them. Sorry.
  4. No worries. There are always weird rule changes that are hard to keep up with. I’m with you! It’s all good!
  5. Who cares? CBE was saying this is the best half of football the Colts have played in 2 years. I was simply pointing out the Colts played an even better half last year vs. Minn. That’s all.
  6. No worries. In this thread it is very easy to miss posts. They come in bunches. It’s all good.
  7. Yes…. He said the team wasn’t doing well. He pointed to the defense. He apparently thought the Colts were about to blow the lead.
  8. The colts are going to lead at the half 28-10. But one fan in this thread already announced that things weren’t going well and he probably wouldn’t watch the rest of the game. The score was 21-10 Colts when he said that. Not kidding.
  9. I already miss our typical road white uni’s. I think they are sharp! But the Blues will do!
  10. His father says yes. In a story I read this week, his father says he doesn’t understand why the worst team in the league is rewarded with the top pick. Called it backwards. Says he’s been advised that even if his son does come out, he should tell the team with the top pick (perhaps Arizona) that his son will never play for that team and encourage that team to trade the rights to the pick to a better team. Called it an Eli Manning move. Im sure this won’t be the last we hear about this. I think I saw this briefly referenced on the Colts page, but wanted to put this here for more readers.
  11. Mike….. sorry, I’ve never been to Jacksonville, so I can’t help you that way. But I may be able to help in another way. I don’t think your post here is going to attract many responses. Because this thread discussion dates back to last November. So most everyone who is going to respond already has. So here’s, what I recommend…. Start your own thread…. Label it something like this: OT: New Member Seeks Advice FYI: the OT stands for Off Topic. Then cut and paste what you wrote here into the body of your post and hit “submit reply”. This way you will get many more eye balls to see your request. Give it a few days, but you should get some answers. I’ll keep an eye out for it. Hit me up with a private message or a post if you’re confused or have questions. I’m not a moderator, but perhaps I can guide you in the right direction. Good luck….
  12. FWIW: Yes, Pierce didn’t grade well. But neither did Pittman or Downs. I think only Granson had a decent grade. You might want to consider that with Richardson learning in the job and making his college mistakes at the NFL level, that THAT may be why some of our weapons may not perform as expected. Richardson is still learning how to read defenses and figuring out how to play quarterback. The Colts offense is going to be a work in progress all season long. They are going to be good days and bad. Things are going to be a little more complicated than normal.
  13. No, not at all. For better and/or worse, I’m not on Twitter. I only see tweets posted here. Just wanted to point out that this year, 2023, is Love’s 4th year. And it’s the first time he’s looked good. He’s been a disappointment in his first three years. I’m happy for Love. I’ll be rooting for him.
  14. FWIW: Uhhh…. About that tweet. The person who wrote it didn’t get their facts straight. Jordan Love sat behind Rodgers for 3 years, not two. Drafted in 2020. And, to be fair, this was the first off-season Love looked good. He has looked shaky at best every camp until this year.
  15. I think you meant Marvin HARRISON Jr. And yes he would.
  16. “The quicker that Shane realizes that he is void of skillset players like he had with the Eagles and Chargers…” Huh? What the….??? Why do you think he doesn’t know that? Spoiler alert!! He knew that the day the Colts hired him back in February. It’s now September. He’s been coaching the team for 7 months. Steichen knows what he has and doesn’t have. Sorry, but that was head scratching…..
  17. Doesn’t matter if you think it’s a song. Fans have ignored injuries and rookies and inexperienced players and now there’s a new OL coach. You can reject all of them as excuses, except they’re all legit. In the best of circumstances the OL is typically the last unit to come around. And this wasn’t the best of circumstances.
  18. Well…. They’re not horrible. But it’s the first game of the season and they’ve got a new OL coach. This is NOT unexpected. They’ll get better with time.
