  1. So you wanna be in the playoffs next season? Hmmm! LOL! Mahommes sat for a YEAR, NOT 10 games. A. Rodgers 3 years. These lessons evade people, it boggles the mind. We hope to EVER get back to the SB in the next 10 -15 years with that good of a TEAM, and clowns worry about developing a VG Prospect, no matter who it is. NUTTS!!!
  2. What is new. That is Ballard's MO. How has that worked out for him? Somebody else needs to pick'em because Ballard has stunk it at up at corner. Except for Rogers. Funny haha! I HOPE our Ex player comes of the board ASAP, and for a nice haul. And maybe we are looking at Sean Bunting. His age and skill level is very appealing. He is a playmaker against the pass.
  3. Well, Rogers graded extremely high playing outside so I hope he stays there. Rogers can surely chase guys on crossers better than Kenny because of his speed, but I'm afraid he wouldn't hold up well over a season trying to defend the run. Guess we will see.
  4. I hope for him it's da Bears. Eb got the best out of him.
  5. Philly had a great offense and I hope Steichen gets what he needs to build it here. There is no question Richardson could be as good or better than Hurts with the run aspect and that would make a phenomenal base. His low completion % last season doesn't scare me an iota. I've watched a discussion and breakdown of his game and some of the causes and see him now as a high floor QB playing for Steichen. Let the lying begin, but yes I want the best version of last seasons Philly offense Here! I believe it incorporates Steichen's Best Ideas and he is ahead of the competition.
  6. Richardson can throw those standing in the pocket and a mile high.
  7. Seumalo seems to be the last higher dollar o-lineman that fits our needs. Unfortunately, his market may be multiple years at $10+ million. I would guess 12-15 M fully guaranteed. With his skill set that would be fine, except, he will be 30 in OCT. and has a history of missing a whole lot of games. I would think we will pass, looking for a more reasonable alternative.
  8. Your ambition is for a overpaid mediocrity as our CB. Rock is decent at best. Expect faster and better for our future contending team.
  9. Actually his PFF grade fell a little bit to 65 which is an average starter. We want someone with more speed and for less money so i doubt he is being considered at all.
  10. Risner is the worst of the 4 AZ free agent o-lineman. Not bad at pass blocking but a bellow avg. starter. We have a younger, less experienced, but ascending Fries so... there are a couple other FA guards slightly better. I doubt we sign one of them either.
  11. I'll take a shot. Age 32 played well last season behind a historically phenominal pass rush. For a team that wants to win - 1yr $10M NOT for us.
  12. The one that makes sense based on age, skill set, and need, is Seumalo. But at 29 and $10-12M per, I don't see CB going there. lol The Big question is how does Steichen see Smith as a fit on his o-line? Is Smith more Lane Johnson or can he be best used inside as we add one of the several really good Tackle prospects that will be available in rd 2? Smith lacks the quickness and speed to block well out in space. He has always been part of the reason we have been less able to excel at all aspects of the screen game.
  13. Seumalo is a possibility. I am leaning towards us taking a RT in the 2nd with pick 45-55. And no we do not have that pick yet. Yes this moves Smith over. We need to end up with a pick or two from Seattle or the Bears.
  14. Only the owner needs to believe in the current plan. He wouldn't be here if he is crazy! So... Just wondering, do you know if Ryan still wants to play, and if he does what might the financial circumstances be? We could pay half his salary and the new team pay the other half. What would that mean?
  15. He could hit the ground running in Baltimore. They should move on from their "problem" and go after Fields. And i hope they do.
  16. Hooked and Stroud are very similar. Hooker ran more. You are funny. Our HC has a system for whoever we draft, and it will require lots of quick accurate passes. Herdon could be that guy.
  17. And this is why the topic is just low level, mindless, jibber jabber. ZERO sense!
  18. So you predict that by the end of year three Young will be acknowledged as the best of the bunch. Because when you look to draft from this group THAT IS what our brain trust will be drafting for.
  19. I hope all is well Crazy. I'm accustomed to you, over a long time, posting serious, interesting, well thought out points of view. I really appreciate that you just don't commonly go off the rails posting the goofy, out in left field stuff. Of course where we stand now we are left in a serious state of bewilderment with the state of our Colts. To me, i accept that with a Rookie QB headed our way that means a 2-3 year reset. That is the norm as a minumum. So, will Irsay push for as many wins as possible next season, or will they save some cap space for a year as if they are in a reset? CC1 with all due respect, it just takes a minute to open up spotrac or overthecap to check contract status. I too as time allows, post quickly which makes for less well thought out, even incomplete posts. Just gotta get my say in. Anyway, keep up your high hopes for our Colts and continue to stay well grounded with your perspective that is much needed here. bbz
  20. Oh, i would say everyone on our offense was misused. Hines is a gadget guy. Definitely Not a #2 RB. Seattle and GB would be good places for Hines if you want him to play offense. Moss was a good enough RB i don't care if Taylor comes back. Taylors bad ankle is scary!!!
  21. It's easy to write your negative slant. Bla! Bla! Bla! JMO that from the word HAD on you are posting dodoo. And i would say ZERO % here thinks he is irreplaceable. So you got that wrong too! Frank just didn't have it and he lead Irsay and Ballard to wrong choices. In Frank we trusted and his failure became obvious to the man that writes the checks. Kudos to Irsay for slamming the door to end his rein! And now it's time for Irsay & Ballard to adapt. BTW Leonard makes Between Raquan Smith and Fred Warner. Just the going rate. Q EARNED his contract. We will see if he bounces back under a new regime. There are only 3-4 very good teams in the NFL. And the rest trying to draft and develop their own players, and yes sign a few FA to fill the gaps to catch up. So here we are. Trying our best to get a good HC, draft a QB with great potential, and continue to build a talented Team. Like Every other team. Yawn!
  22. We dumped a way over paid, easily replaceable gadget guy for a actual solid looking RB. Moss looks like we could trade Taylor and use him as a lead RB. Just sign one of the several qualty #2's that will be available in FA, and draft another good prospect later in the draft. We could have a very solid RB core.
