    <p>
    I have been a Colt fan since 1973. The drafting of Bert Jones is what drew my attention to Baltimore.

    My mom and dad were die hard Bear fans. My dad was an acquaintance of Dick Butkus through his work and honestly the Bears were the only team we could see on TV on a regular bases.

    At my age Bert Jones was my favorite player and still to this day believe he was one of the best. Some injuries show no mercy.

    When the Colts moved to Indy I was ecstatic. I live about 5 miles from Lucas Oil Stadium so seeing where the Colts play just about every day is pretty cool.

      "Highway Song" is 1 of the greatest songs ever recorded & laid down in a studio in my humble opinion. I always wonder what the sensation feels like when every musician in the room knows 'Darn man, that song is special, will stand the test of time, & I got goosebumps. See?

      That's why I revere musicians so much because you take pain, excitement, life, & regret & transform into a song where people go 'Hey, that tune speaks to me man. Hades, that song is me man.

      I guess I just admire chemistry that takes musicians to a new stratosphere & state of consciousness that they didn't know the band was even capable of 10 minutes ago before that song poured & flowed out of them. What's more satisfying? Hits that come easy or numbers that must be pulled out of you & still resonate with LIVE crowds?

      Great stuff RR7 as always!

      I always thought the remake of the Allman Brothers Dreams I'll Never See by Molly Hatchet was one of the best remakes I ever heard.
