10 - 6 Second place in AFC South
This will be the first year Houston is able to sweep us in the regular season.
We will win our Wildcard matchup and face Houston again in the Divisional round.
That is where my predictions end...

Josh Chapman. Just being on the field is an improvement!
-
I can only hope this means that Peyton packed up the injury bug and took it with him when he moved. It overstayed it's welcome in the Indy area!
-
TOUCHDOWN COLTS!!!
-
Wow! over JJ Watt? That seems generous.
-
1. Ballard will start day one, while we rest Bradshaw.
2. Walden will start in order to establish a "stop the run" attitude, but Werner will see playing time in the first series.
3. Heyward-Bey will start opposite Wayne with Hilton in the slot.

Reggie won't decline until Reggie decides to decline. No earlier.

Who qualifies as a "Blue Chip" player?

Underrated: ALL KICKERS! EVER!

I just saw this and figured I would post it:
We need to make sure ALL of our linemen are over 59.5 inches (4'11.5").

He also seems to be a bright kid with a good personality. I liked his interview, and I thought he had a great quote:
On how he stays out of trouble:
"I just stay out of bars, and stay off Twitter."
It sounds SO simple, but it makes a BIG difference.

I think more teams=more games played, something that the players aren't too hot about. But then again, it means more money too, so maybe they can be negotiated with...
That is true, but the NFL is wanting to increase the amount of games anyway.
I think more games=more players on rosters. Teams will have to start resting players like they do in other sports. The CBA should be for it, since it allows teams, current players, and players currently NOT on teams to make more money. Depth will become a bigger factor (they might even eventually have to add more rounds to the draft again).
-
It's naive to think the NFL will never expand beyond 32 teams; and, if they are going to expand, they will do it in small increments. Adding one or two teams at a time will mess up the symmetry we have in the 32 team format, but it will allow for more growth down the line.
Because its too fn cold up there...lol
Ha! I agree, but are And Minneapolis and Green Bay warm weather teams?

Been there and done that. The guy is made of the same thing Stokely was when he was here. He is just a walking injury concern and fully expect him to be hurt again this season whenever another team signs him.
It is sad to see a promising career cut short by injuries, but it happens to many many players. A front office just has to know when to move on and not allow personal attachment to a player cloud their judgement.
Let another team sign him and have to put him on IR.
By Stokley, do you mean Anthony Gonzalez? I don't remember Stokley being injured too often.

So just out of curiosity... what is with the "S" in the middle of that default avi?
That is the Coltstrong logo (used to be Chuckstrong)

Shady McCoy.... ummm Sam Acho...... Arian Foster..... Just the names that come to mind
I don't know, but he claims to have needed a TE; and , if I remember correctly, Jimmy Graham was the very next pick after we took Kevin Thomas.
-
Probably New England fans.
I wouldn't have wanted to see anything of the kind.
Correct! I prefer to see connections between Brady and whatever defensive backs he plays against.
-
Even with Hernandez & Gronk possibly missing the season you have them going 12-4? Do they even have any other TE's besides those 2?
Didn't they pick up that TE off waivers from the Giants last year? Wasn't he supposed to be pretty good? They also have a decent blocking TE with a Samoan name I won't even try to spell. The Pats will still have an above average TE group this year. Maybe one of the Pat fans on this forum can help me with names?

There is still 16 games in a season and playoffs
There are 16 games in a regular season. So if he watches 16, INCLUDING playoffs, that would mean zero playoff games.
16 games watched minus 16 regular season games leaves zero for playoffs.
-
Donald Brown has highlights? Lol
! And if you notice, it's only one tenth of the length of Bradshaws; and the first twenty seconds of it are just pictures.
-
Whatever, I watch the guy 16 games a year including the playoffs, the guy is a great talent, I'm not saying he's number 1 but in my opinion Dustin, you are reaching here. We've had this argument before and I won't go on any longer.
Hahaha! 16 games including playoffs? Are you saying you miss games, or are you saying they won't be in any playoff games?

Vs 2 wideouts. Foster was 3rd, ballard was 4th. A negligible difference.
But it still reverses their positions.

Im talking about 2012 only. I don't know how many times I have to say this.
I think your using 1 seasons worth of carries to say he is not a top 5 Back when to determine his place among the current Backs in the league you have to take into account skill set and production a sa whole based on skill set(He was also undrafted by the way but that dont really apply), He has a 4.5 ypc career average and 44 td's on 1010 attempts plus 167 receptions for 1531 yards and 6 td'sthrough 4 years
I agree with Dustin it might be better to judge RBs based on recent production (one year or two). With the nature of the position (how easily RBs can rise or fall), anything more than two years back is ancient history.

Did you read where it mentions "next we'll look at how offensive personnel impacts this?" All this stat tells me is that we ran more running plays with two tight ends. I can't remember Houston using two tight ends very often. Eight in the box to account for our nine is not considered stacking the box.
Vance, do you have a rough idea of how often Houston had in two tight ends?
