No love for Saturday or Bethea? I think Bethea should have been in last year, and Saturday has name recognition.

A lot of talented corners left for the NFC, and I wouldn't be surprised if he makes one or two pro bowls in his life. I'm extremely glad to have him on our team!

The perfect scenario would be for Kevin Thomas to turn into the next coming of Deion Sanders, but in reality I'm fine with Powers and Lacey. Lacey and Tryon are close to equals in my book, and I don't see why everyone's hating on Lacey. The kid is going to develop into a quality starter. Lacey needs to develop a better press and get better at recognizing play action and double moves, but his coverage is solid and he plays the ball well when it's in the air. I also think he plays the run better than Tryon (just my opinion).
Hopefully our line forces enough bad passes to make anyone look good.

Hunter Smith was a nice athlete too! I remember him getting a few penalties for hitting too hard! A punter getting hits like that was hilarious...

I'd like to see more speed from a returner (if that's his role), but his balance and body control are amazing!

These guys doing well will be awesome for the Colts! MacAffee is getting no love from fans! With the new kickoff rules, he is going to cover up our biggest weakness for the past 5+ years! Our kick coverage has been consistently our worst facet of the game year to year... This new kickoff plays right into our hands!

jeesh, Freeney 93 that's a little low.
Mathis is 93 also. They changed the scale and everyone dropped. Highest is Ngata at 97! He's tied for fifth highest, and I can see cases for everyone above him. I'm looking forward to the colt's player ratings being released (maybe Sunday?)!

We couldn't just restructure his contract. He would have to agree with it. Apparently, he didn't agree with it and wanted to test free agency. If he doesn't get any offers he likes, he may try to rejoin for less. We just have to be patient and see.

Big name free agents are usually big MONEY free agents...
And they aren't necessarily big PLAY free agents.
You won't hear Braylon Edward's name much now that he's signed in San Francisco... Alex Smith could have developed well if he was allowed to grow comfortable with a system, but Braylon will need to be WIDE open for Alex to find him.

Garcon excels after the catch, and his fighting for yards outweighs his drops to me. Where did he rank around the league in drop percentage? Leading the Colt's in drops would only take a couple...

Taylor Mays = amazing physical prowess, but the football knowledge and mental toughness isn't there. He'd be great to start on special teams...knocking folks out.
I have a feeling both the 49ers and Taylor himself would ask too much from us to spend on a pure special teamer. He would dominate though!

He was a monster his junior year, and everyone had very high expectations for his senior year. He was exposed in coverage and his draft stock lowered. People were talking about putting some weight onto him and turning him into a linebacker for his rookie year, but the 49ers chose him as a safety due to his speed. He is a pure ATHLETE, but he needs some polishing to complete his game.

We need a return guy that can actually return!!! White was 90% fair catch - he has no speed! Can't remember last good kick return man we had or last time we had a return TD? Can anyone remember that??????????
I think the last return TD we had was the Hagler offside kick play.
Maybe we should have linebackers returning (secret weapon!)
