  1. Lets have a little fun I would like 21 replies to this and I would each reply to name a player free agent/ current player/drafted player for each of the starting positions.  One pick per post I.E

    QB - A Luck (Boilerjd16)

    RB  - Eddie Lacy (ED29_1659yards)

    WR - R Wayne (Dustin)

    WR -

    TE  -  Dwayne Allen (Polians_Pundit)

TE/FB - Colby Fleener (Princeton Tiger)

    LT  A Castonso (danlhart87)

    LG  Louis Vazquez (MadsKabell)

    C

    RG  Travis Fredrick (Gavin)

    RT

    DE  -  Armond Armstead (coltsguy510)

    NT

    DE - Cory Redding (PrincetonTiger)

    OLB - Robert Mathis (danlhart87)

    MLB  -  Jerrell Freeman (PrincetonTiger)

    MLB

    OLB

    CB - Vontae Davis (MTC)

    FS

    SS

    CB - Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (danlhart87)

Pick any postion you want but only one pick per slot and post.

Might I suggest you switch Fleener and Allen? Allen is the TE/FB.

I would also like to add Chapman at NT. I can't wait to see what this kid has!

  2. How about?

    1. Barrett Jones, C/G/T

    3. Brandon Jenkins OLB

    3. (trade back in) Chase Thomas OLB

    5. Tharold Simon CB

    6. (trade up higher in 6th round) Dan Buckner WR

We trade all of our compensation picks (except 5th round), and 4th rounder to move up back into the 3rd and higher into the 6th round

I don't think you can trade compensatory picks. I think they're stuck where they are with who they are.

  3. Someone who wants him back, doesn't want to pay his asking price, and doesn't have anyone else to use it on.

Doesn't tagging him make us automatically need to pay him the average of the top five salaries of his position? I assume it would be cheaper to NOT tag him.

  4. For the most part I agree. However, in the case of Suh I think it is high time some team physically punishes him. Chop block or clip him him until he gives out. I'm not saying a coach should encourage it, but an offense ought to let the Lions know that they aren't going to tolerate him.

I'll leave that to Chicago. They may be looking to get revenge after that (somehow legal) power-bomb of Jay Cutler earlier this year. Plus, they need as much help as they can get on the offensive line.

  5. Eh ya dont have to draw a penalty to hurt someone, overall I get your point, as for it being beneath the Colts or any NFL team for that matter and many players I dont believe it because players are going to stick up for there brothers, Im not saying intentionally something to cause a penalty but delivering a legal shot to Suh just to give him something to remember our O Line would have been a good thing

Ha! How about we just send him a video of all us Colts fans dancing after the win?

  6. Ok lets say that happened ( I dont remember seeing it but Im sure it did) then why the heck didn't Mcglynn, Satele or whoever it was at the other Guard spot not do a thing about it? if someone did that over one of my teammates then I'd make it my purpose(after I did my original job) to take that player out of the game as well

McGlynn did the right thing. He bottled it up, did his job, and helped the Colts win the game. That is a display of class that the Lions could learn from. This "eye for an eye" mentality leads to penalties, and we had no room for penalties in this game. trying to injure Suh is beneath the Colts.

  7. and janoris jenkins is biting us in the behinds right now. 6 tackles 1 pass deflected and a INT against detroit in week 1. what did vontae davis do that we gave up a second round pick for? and according jeff fisher Jenkins has turned his act around and is focused on football. yeah we got fleener in the second round, but the colts were already in line to draft Allan also. so getting jenkins wouldnt have hurt.

    Hindsight... 'Nuff said...

We didn't know that Allen would be available to start the third. We went with the top rated players from our board. If you want to use hindsight for your argument, at least wait for them to play more than one game.

  8. Poor Jags... anybody want to try out for them with me? jk

we would probably make the team, if not be starters, then we would have to play our beloved colts twice a year. tough position to be in.

When you're on the Jags every position is a tough position to be in. lol

I wouldn't want to be a Jaguar. They even warm up by getting slapped around...

Looks to me like they practice taking a beating...
