Big picture, Shane brought Minshew to Indy to help teach AR the offense, not to start 10+ games. That plan fell apart with AR's injuries. My bottom line is this season could have been MUCH worse if not for imagination and the will to win. (In most games, anyway).

Right, l think we agree on priorities. Playing zone requires QB pressure and since blitzing is minimal in Gus' defense they need to upgrade the line.

Even though I'm a little disappointed, both buy into the "keep the play in front of you" zone. I can't blame them, with the lack of experience there is in the secondary. We'll see the same scheme next year which puts a stud DE either through the draft or FA a huge priority.

I'll give Ballard another year (l called him and told him so). We may have been Division Champs if it weren't for terrible officiating (Cleveland) and gambling addicts in the secondary. I think we're back on track from Luck's untimely retirement and we gained tremendous depth this year. AR had most of the season to get familiar SS's offense and hopefully no surgeries for JT. Plus l don't think we're going to lose much to FA. So in summary: l can't believe he dropped the @&+$?$ ball!!!!
