And I think that logic holds up at practically every position for the Colts, except QB, LT, RB.
I think we're pretty set at K and P also.

We know what he is good at but apparently blocking is not one of them according to this evaluation.
Well, I don't know who else I speak for here, but I think I'll wait until you find and share that report so I can see where it came from before deciding whether or not to give it any consideration.

I do to. If they do pick at 15 and it’s BPA I find it hard to believe that would be Bowers. I don’t see TE as being the number one need. I see WR, ER, DT, CB. For example I would take Sweat over Bowers.
What's to be confused about? in one sentence, you say they'll take BPA at pick 15, but in the very next sentence you say it won't be Bowers because TE is not the #1 need. Since when does taking BPA mean you're taking a player at the position that's your #1 need? That is a contradiction.

But it's also an example of why I'm skeptical about what some of this stuff means in real life. If a player's car gets stolen because he left his keys in his car, I don't see that as a team responsibility.
agreed. 2 things that are lacking from the report card are context and tone. To use the daycare as an example, that conversation could have gone multiple ways.
ex 1.
interviewer: what are some areas of the Colts organization that could be improved?
player: oh wow how long do you have. Let's see, first, most teams offer daycare on gamedays. Colts brass want me out on the field but don't care about my family and their needs?!!!!
ex 2.
interviewer: what are some areas of the Colts organization that could be improved?
player: you know, honestly I love playing here. I love the atmosphere, the facilities etc.
interviewer: ok but if you HAD to mention something, what would it be?
player: well I do know that most other teams offer daycare on game days. that would be nice to have.
Just reading the report doesn't tell us how serious nor to what level these complaints are.

I would hope for the better. At least that was what I was trying to convey.
you would hope, but it would be one of the only food service establishments to have improved over the past several years rather than regress lol

Ever been inside the cafeteria at the colts complex on w 56th? I was many times during my security days for them. That menu is HUGE HUGE HUGE. The players can dang near order anything they could dream of, even exotics given enough notice. So unless something has changed since 2008 when I left, I find the food thing a bit odd.
I'm thinking there's more than a decent chance that some things might have changed in the past 16 years.

I prefer my food not come from Michelin. That's just me though.

He’s here now but I doubt he’s here forever. And what you outlined is part of the reason he needs to go. We shouldn’t be limiting the type of players we are drafting because of Gus’ scheme. Especially considering he refuses to play more man sometimes. That’s why say draft a player like Arnold or Mitchell who can play in any scheme.
The zone heavy defense came about before Gus got here. It seems to be a philosophical thing on Ballard's part, which is one of my least favorite of Ballard's traits. So even if Gus goes, I'd expect someone with a similar defensive scheme/philosophy to take his place.

@J@son, who would win Michael Myers in the Rob Zombie Remake vs Jason from Friday the 13th Part 3? Jason crushed Rick's skull in Part 3 like a grape, talk about strength.
Tale of the tape:
Myers 6'9 275
Jason 6'5 275
Jason was shorter but had more muscle/bulge at 275.
ok my main take away from this is that you have spent a substantial amount of time staring at and approximating the size of Jason's bulge.
As to your question, I'm gonna say Michael because, when he's not terrorizing the babysitters of Haddonfield, he takes of his mask and lives his normal life as Sabretooth.

And I really don’t think it would trigger one today. As violent as Indy has become, it’s not on a hair trigger riot wise. Not like Minneapolis or Philly or even Louisville.
This is exactly what I came here to say. Dude is acting like this all happened last week. It happened mid 2019, BEFORE the pandemic brought out the insanity of 85% of the population.

My only source of communication is through posting by words. There are a handful of people in here that I can't stand the way they post but if I met them in person, I may like them more than I like some in here just by chatting. I have actually learned a lot from some others in here which is cool in my book
Hey, for the record, and I meant to post this days ago, I like you as a poster for the most part and you seem like a good person. You do have a tendency to be a bit of a "hey look at me, I was right" kind of guy sometimes though. So when that happens, I give you a bit of a hard time about it to keep you grounded. lol

I read the article, it is a good read. Thanks @NewColtsFan. Regarding our local media as a whole though, even go back to the Manning days, many are not the brightest. I like some and some I don't. Many seem to put our team down no matter what over the years, they even did it while Manning was here. I won't mention any names, but they have, including recently 2 people that follow the Colts for a living picking us to win 3 games which is a huge insult in my book.
I am a nobody - I admit it, I knew we would win at least 8 games last season though. How does that happen? It happens because I know the game of football better than most media people. Not bragging but my predictions are usually more spot on than most that work in that industry. Look at my weekly pick threads, I was 173-99 over 18 weeks = 63.6% right. I was 8-5 in the Playoffs = 61.5% and picked the SB winner right before the game. Before the season, I had a Ravens vs Lions SB, missed it barely. People were laughing at my Lions pick, they barely lost in the NFC Title and was up big. I picked Lamar Jackson to win MVP before the season, I guess my Crystal ball is better than most. .
Dude, how many ribs did you have to have removed before you could submit that post?

I think they are probably in the process of appealing already. It's almost automatic with the union, especially this year when they've really been vocal about the number of fines.
If it was something like what @ArmchairQB described then they may opt out of trying to appeal. Details of what happened are scarce at this point and will only come out publicly if they, or someone from the Colts organization speaks out. If they appeal though, seems like that would lead to a lot more info coming out, not just to fans but other team's brass as well

I don’t have anything but rumors to go off of as well. Heard from someone with a supposed “inside source” that they were healthy scratches for performance and didn’t respond very well to Shane giving them that news and started acting disruptive.
Is it true? Who knows. Surely plausible though.
This seems to be the most plausible of any theory or rumor I've read thus far
