First bad punt by Scifres I've seen in a long time. He had a bad game last year (can't remember which one) but he was injured.

Freeney's pressure finished up by Melvin Ingram. Getting pressure makes all the difference. Freeney has been literally another coach out there for our young guys. Love him.

Everything in front of them. Solid tackling.
That has been our long time frustration - poor tackling, and a bad secondary. Every week it was "Why are we giving every receiver 10 yards to catch the ball?"

I heard Charlie Joiner on local radio today (former wide receiver and receiver's coach from the Air Coryell days). He said that our team this year wasn't necessarily the best at every position but that we're one of the best T E A M S we've ever fielded. He doesn't hype, he's a really quiet, understated sort of a guy. That's what I'm seeing tonight.

like who? Us? I didn't see it week 1. Seattle was just as physical against Green Bay and it wasn't called. Last night it was fairly called both ways in our game. In fact on that first field goal we held them too we absolutely mugged the guy on the goal line with no call. It's a non-issue in my mind. Issue was because the preseason we saw a bunch of scrubbs holding etc because they don't know how to play defense but once the real guys got on the field we saw quality play.
Yeah, we couldn't believe what you got away with in the end zone.

I missed this comment. Yeah, Scifres is your worst nightmare. He's amazing at getting people within the 15 yard line and/or no returns.
