Yeah I have said all along he was never going anywhere after Irsay said he wasn't trading him. I do believe Irsay/Ballard would trade him but it will take a 1st round pick in 2024 at worse.

What you and many don't realize we aren't trading him unless we get a bunch in return. Taylor has no control over anything because we can franchise tag him if he wants to leave at the end of the season.

Well if we trade him I want a 1st round pick and a 2nd round pick and I am sure Irsay would back me up on that.

Irsay already said he isn't trading him. Now if a team wants to give us a 1st round pick and a 2nd round pick in 2024, then I will listen. That won't happen so lets hope when he comes back he plays great and see where it goes from there.

I have us at 8. I think we will struggle at times and look bad and we will win a few games that leave people thinking we aren't bad either.

That kind of shows me he and Ballard probably had a private talk and are mending things. You are right, sad it had to come to that but as long he plays like 2021 Taylor starting in week 5, people will forget about this. If we can be 2-2 through the 1st 4 weeks, we may actually win or 8 or 9 games and maybe make things interesting for a playoff spot. 9 wins could get us in?

I watched the game today and talk about a game of inches. In the 9th inning, Gomes just missed hitting a HR by a foot. That would have won the game. This series has been very disappointing but I am still not worried. We were due to hit a slump sooner or later with playing everyday. What is funny is, everyone else has been losing in this playoff race. We still are in complete control of a playoff spot. The sweep we had over the Giants looms large now. I think we will win tomorrow. We haven't lost 4 in a row since early June. Baseball can be gut wrenching.

Cubs had a stinker tonight but still have full control on the 5th playoff spot. Marlins lost, that helped.

Mahomes could quit playing today and still make the Hall of Fame. Only 5 years of play but 2 SB wins, 3 SB apps, 2 League MVP's, 2 SB MVP's. He doesn't have the longevity yet that Tom, Joe, and Peyton had obviously but in his first 5 years as a starter, it is unmatched.
