  1. For a 1 year run at a SB, teams will do many things. Rams were negative 41 million in cap space (sarcasm) and still was able to garner an all-star team. They are paying the price now but they got a SB win out of it. Bills fans of all fans are dying for a SB win with their history. They have a good team but need more to win it all.
  2. Yes and no. If JT is really unhappy and we get a great deal, there is that. In the end, Irsay probably doesn't want to trade him so I don't think he is lying about that.
  3. I think they would enter the Chiefs, Bengals, and Ravens level if they get JT. I am high on the Ravens this year. Without a legit run game, the Jets could very well win that division.
  4. Buffalo also has 9 picks in 2024. They do have a 1st and 2nd round pick.
  5. JT would be a perfect fit in Buffalo. To be able to have a dominant run game in bad weather games is huge.
  6. I am pretty sure the Colts are wanting at least 1st round pick in 2024 from someone. I have no facts to back that up but when Irsay said 3 weeks ago we aren't trading him, I took that as, we aren't trading him unless we get a great deal.
  7. Oh yeah. If I was an agent, I would be telling other GM's/teams I have 5 others that want my player.
  8. I was talking about the stars, once they signed long term deals they usually played their contracts out without complaining. Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Derrick Henry for a RB example. Once they got any long term deal done they have never once complained. Derrick Henry could be making a bigstink right now that McCaffrey is making more money than he is, a lot more at that but he hasn't at all. I pretty much know this, and that is the reason we won't trade him to the Dolphins.
  9. I thought he had more sacks as well but never seen him as a great pass rusher. I looked him up after you posted your OP. I was shocked at how many sacks he has, very little to my surprise.
  10. Yes he did, you are right. Then I remember after the Lakers struggled in 2007, he wanted out of LA as well. He did it twice
  11. Yeah I remember the Carson situation. He ended up having 1 great year with the Cards even. Barry Sanders actually said he wanted to keep playing, that he had a lot left. He retired because Detroit would not trade him and they never gave him enough help to win.
  12. It shouldn't be different, but it is, I say that because this stuff goes on all the time. Not saying it makes it right.
  13. Other than the Dolphins, media keeps saying there is a 2nd team. I am watching the NFL Network right now and they are saying it again. I am guessing the Bills? If the Bills got Taylor, they would probably be favored to win the SB. That would also screw my prediction up of the Jets winning that division because I think the Bills would then.
  14. If it was me, I would tell the media I want out and will never play another down for said team if I was really unhappy. Barry Sanders did it with the Lions.
  15. In a perfect world he should play out his contract. It is a rookie contract though at 4.6 million. The league has changed a lot compared to 15 years ago where players almost always played out any contract they have. If Taylor was in the middle of a great 5 year deal and it was year 2 and he was complaining wanting more money, that would be way different. I would then say Taylor is dead wrong and being greedy.
  16. @csmoparposted the same thing, it is a great counter to my thinking because others are going to post that too, but a lot of players that are real unhappy, just flat out say they want out.
  17. If I am the GM of our team. I only trade him if I get a 1st round pick in 2024 and either get a good O.Lineman or good CB that is 27 or younger to go with that. Robert Hunt just turned 27 4 days ago, I would take him and a 1st round pick in 2024 for example. If I don't get that, I keep Taylor and he, the Owner, and I have a long talk in my office about football and maybe getting a deal done. I would still throw him the offer of 3 years/39 Million and guarantee him 25 Million. I could not see him passing that up after all this nonsense.
  18. I think some people and the media thinks we are just going give them Taylor for a 2nd rounder and nothing else, that isn't happening, if it does that makes us look bad. That would be a terrible trade on our part.
  19. She hit the nail. No teams are presenting a great offer and we aren't giving him away.
  20. Of course, teams act like we are just going to give him away. Not happening unless we get a great deal/a lot in return. He is our best player.
