lol John Fogerty is having a show in Vegas now.  Britney has been way too young for this. I mean initially if she did it for like a year then fine, I saw the show and it was amazing. After a while it got stale.

It sucks too.....she deserves so much better and we deserve so much better as fans.

As soon as I saw that "pretty girls" video and stuff I kinda knew it was done. But, we still have all her old stuff to worship though.

JLo I think is in Vegas now and all but she is around the right age for that too in her mid 40's.

And sadly I never was sure Britney fit the pattern. But, she has always been at Planet Hollywood which IS marketed towards the younger crowd and is a lot more "urban" if you ever seen it. Where some of the older stars like Elton John etc. go to the hotels and play places that are often marketed to middle aged and older folk.

J Lo don't really belong in Vegas either. She is the right age, only because she got her career into her mid 30's. I think she was 34 or 35 when her big hit came out (Love Don't Cost A Thing). Jennifer Lopez has always been a bit aged, because it took her so long to finally get a recording contract. She was already in her 30's when she finally got signed. But speaking of her, she's had some BIG hits in recent years, much like Britney had in the 2000's. I don't think J Lo has any business being in Vegas. 

I did watch one of the J Lo's Vegas shows online though and I liked it. Wish she would stop doing pop and just do a full Spanish album. Her Spanish stuff is great, and from what I seen of her Vegas show, she went all out with the Salsa backing band and it looked like a lot of fun.

See, that is Britney's problem with her team. When she was still on Jive records, they dropped the idea of marketing her towards teens, and went all out pushing her with the contemporary adult crowd. 

Her last 3 albums on Jive, were heavily marketed to an adult audience fit for the dance clubs. It's the main reason she does so well internationally with the dance scene and has a cult-following with club music nerds. Her last album on Jive, 'Femme Fatale' was her last smash hit album, and that one was very popular with the clubs.

Since leaving Jive and since her team has taken 100% control of her with RCA, they have tried to market her to teens and pop tarts again as if she is still 22 years old. It's as if Circus and Blackout never happened. Her team is insane and has no idea what they're doing. The Vegas gigs is an easy paycheck to the bank.
