  1. There’s certainly hope with that young man.
  2. I’ll be cheering hard for the Chiefs if they end up facing the Ravens in the AFC Championship. Didn’t sit well with me when they started cheering for Burrow being hurt. I never wished injury on anyone, not even Brady.
  3. This season? So far no. Before this season, I’d say yes.
  4. For me personally, 2005 was one of my favorite years. The team just dominated throughout the season. Same for 2014 with Luck. We beat both Super Bowl teams that year. 2021 was tops for the Bengals. The arrival of Joe Cool. Stunning the Chiefs at the end of the season and then again in the AFC Championship.
  5. Every fan base has people like that. Including all sports. It’s a pretty common thing honestly. If you were to ask Bears and Falcons fans if their Super Bowl loss seasons were successful, you’d probably get a lot of grumbling.
  6. I can confirm, his band is very fun.
  7. That would certainly solve the Higgins salary problem.
  8. Agreed. The team most likely to get flexed will be Dallas, as long as Dak is still standing.
  9. There’s other investigations from previous years. But, that said, the NCAA is worse and more crooked than Jim. They’re power hungry and don’t seem to care about integrity.
  10. Yep. I’ve been saying it: the NFL wants a Swifty bowl.
  11. He’s to hoping next season is different. It’s a QB graveyard this year. I keep checking my phone on Sundays wondering who’s next to be knocked out for the season…
  12. That was me. And yes, it’s record breaking.
  13. I think Jim is too much damaged goods at this point. Too many investigations going on. The dude screams crooked.
  14. Exactly. And it could certainly be that the refs are just that terrible. But the fact that sports betting even exists allows for the opportunity to discredit the results of the game by waving it off that it was rigged. I see the fallout of Joe Burrow's injury has lead to high profile people calling for a class action lawsuit because they lost money betting on the Bengals and that they were cheated because of the Bengals withholding Joe's injury... That doesn't even happen if sports betting is banned.
  15. Captain Jake Browning leading the S.S. Tankjob to secure a top 10 pick for the Bengals.
  16. This one will really rile up people: I think sports betting has made the game worse and has damaged its integrity. Sports betting should be banned.
  17. I will say this, he certainly has not lost the locker room. That's such a huge thing that a lot of people who have never played in any level miss out on, for how crucial it is to team success. They need to get Joe over to Tom Brady and get him into the TB12 program. The kid already goes to bed at 6PM during the season, so I'm sure he's more than disciplined enough to do what Tom was doing.
  18. There's starting to be talk in Cincinnati yeah. That's a fair assessment to me. I'm 50/50 on him at the moment. Like a lot of coaches, he makes mistakes and gets lost in his own playcalling similar to Reich and other playcalling head coaches. But, he certainly has achieved far more with the team compared to years prior. The silence is deafening.
  19. Yep. It's a pretty big connection: When Burrow is healthy all season he obviously balls out and can win playoff games. I'm wondering if the Bengals will use this season as an excuse to move on from Zac Taylor...
  20. Correction: He did sit out at the end of that season against the Browns, but it wasn't due to injury. By that point the Bengals had locked up the AFC North crown so they decided to keep Burrow and the starters off the field and prepare for the playoffs.
  21. He played every game during their Super Bowl run season in 2021.
  22. It's very weird, and not good. Can anyone take her word seriously now after that? Peter King and Florio are talking about it.
