  1. That’s the BIGGEST thing we have going for us. Our Play caller is our head coach. Slowick keeps this up he’ll be gone next year. Don’t see it happening already. Seen plenty of younger QB’s have a drop off in performance when they get introduced to too many play callers. Happened with Luck too
  2. That’s fair. It was just obnoxious with RG3 and Luck.
  3. Not I. They’ll never stop drooling over Stroud. Then? AR has to play in his shadow until he proves he can be on the same level. I Don't want that lol.
  4. Seems like a catalyst that subsequently will lead to leaning on the offense even more in 24’ to make up for the deficiencies of the defense. The more I dig into what Bradley does and how it’s executed the more bummed I get. Seems like an infusion of talent won’t have much of an impact. I’m REALLY hoping that during self evaluations in the offseason there are some tough conversations being had about embracing more creativity next year.
  5. Every year he drops honest nuggets about what direction he is going if you really listen. I think CB and WR are on the menu.
  6. Yes! I loved how he said we will be aggressive where we need to be to better the team, Previous seasons? Tongue and cheek. This year I feel he means it. Shane will let him know exactly what he needs.
  7. This man is a mirror of Shane now lol. More hats being worn, more scruff, more cussing. Now we just need him to be more aggressive on roster on building. Getting closer it sounds like!
  8. Almost expected it to be struggling unit. Need a VET back there.
  9. Did you already see this? https://www.nfl.com/videos/anthony-richardson-goes-through-steve-mariucci-s-draw-my-play-exam
  10. Was JUST about to post this lol. I came away from that short interview with a feeling that the injury humbled him. Made him realize that even though he is absurdly gifted he still has to play smart, protect himself and think about the team as a whole himself when making decisions. I loved how he said seeing CJ’s success this year makes him want to be an even BETTER version of himself. if he can stay healthy….Watch out. Him a Shane will be cooking in 2024
  11. No doubt. This isn’t a hot take but I think the hiring of shane is what will revive Ballards career. Shane isn’t just X’s and O’s but also modern philosophies. I’m exited lol
  12. Yeah - could have worded that better. Main point I was trying to convey is that he took on the team and steadied the ship rather than come in a blow everything up. he’s had all year to evaluate. Now it’s about reassessing and refinement. I think there could be some shocking moves.
  13. To add onto that I don’t think people understand or sense the changes and varying approach to draft strategies that are about to happen this spring. Ballard said Shane pushes him to think differently and Ballard said he needed that earlier this season. About the 10:23 mark of the conference Shane says he and Chris and the coaches will evaluate the roster. Evaluation is OVER. Expect some wholesale changes and wishes granted for certain position groups to happen in this draft and FA. 2024 will be exciting
  14. Yeah wholeheartedly agree. Two teams with an identify crisis. We do some retooling and get AR healthy (stay!) things will be looking up.
  15. Getting rid of the only thing good for them these past 4 years. Henry possibly gone too? What the heck will be their identity now?
  16. This man is exceptionally detailed and thorough. Don’t think everyone coach does this
  17. YUP!!! Reminds me with us and Andrew luck. Still need to beef up the roster but must do so with Lower pics. Blessing and a curse.
  18. Look at the score…..this wasn’t when he said it. Great way to generate engagement though.
