I always think it's odd when a guy refers to HIMSELF by his name in public, intros etc....for years, NEVER mentions his "preferred" name, and then all of a sudden claims "everyone who knows me has always called me X". If you wanna change your name or go by a middle name, whatever.....go for it....but just say that's what it is lol
