Proposed trade for Stefon Diggs to Colts
indyagent17 replied to ColtStrong2013's topic in Colts Football
I would be ticked if we traded a #1 for him. The locker room atmosphere would tank -
WR open percentage vs man coverage (Pierce is at the bottom)
indyagent17 replied to runthepost's topic in Colts Football
He has become a great possession receiver. He makes difficult catches, but he’s never had breakaway speed. -
Kelly, Buckner, and Minshew added to Pro Bowl (MERGE)

Peyton is one of the greatest regular season QB ever. The playoffs are a different story, so many seasons died in Foxboro. When booger McFarlane came here and Bob Sanders was healthy. That was the biggest reason we won the Super Bowl. I know Peyton won two but having Reggie, Marvin, Edgerrin, Freeney, Mathis and Clark we should’ve won more championships.

No, Kansas City is back in the Super Bowl. They lost players that reloaded through free agency in the draft. I think missing the playoffs for several years speaks for itself. A lot of of us agree that Ballard on the hot seat. Never drafted a quarterback before this year just kept using old quarterback after old quarterback, I still like him, but he really has to come through this year and free agency and the draft.

Just look, what blitzing is doing for Kansas City. The make Jackson look like rookie. This is why I am so disappointed in Gus. One of the least bling teams in the league look where it gets us. I certainly hope that we can find a defensive coordinator that is brave enough to attack a quarterback and not sit back and let him throw 7 yard passes all day along

Just watching Pacheco being so versatile as a seventh rounder makes me wish Ballard was more effective year after year

Would You Trade the #4 Pick for Justin Fields?

Even if this was last year, my short and long answer are NO -
How many games will AR miss in the 2024 season?

What a terrible question, I don’t even want to consider missing any games next year. -
Where is the update on his condition

Nine minutes of Richardson highlights
indyagent17 replied to Restinpeacesweetchloe's topic in Colts Football
It’s only nine minutes of highlights, but you can see the raw talent and the boyish attitude of fearlessness. What thing we know for sure he has great arms strength and has a very strong body to withstand in the pocket. We know he can run. He’s blazing fast notice how often you saw Pierce passes from him in those four games he played in. Interestingly enough Pittman only had five touchdowns last last year, he had two or three in the first four games. I think we’re going to have a Houston type of season next year as long as he stays healthy and I think he’ll be a smarter quarterback next year too, regarding sliding or finishing a play with speed and not letting up. -
Colts looking for new DL Coach w Nate Ollie Out?
indyagent17 replied to TomDiggs's topic in Colts Football
It’s amazing how the Colts had a lot of sacks this year, but didn’t get a lot of pressure on the whole. So many times we saw quarterbacks just stand in the clean pocket against us. I hate to say it, but I’ve seen some lazy attitudes from Paye and Dayo. Hopefully a new coach will light a fire underneath them and make them accountable. That’s been the problem with our D line for a while. -
His lack of TD’s was troubling. We all knew how inaccurate Mischew was and Pitt still had a decent season. Just imagine a healthy Richardson throwing the ball. He still has some inaccurate throws but defensively teams will be afraid of his running threat. That makes him trouble for defensive coordinators. Pierce will be better, Downs will be more of a weapon and Pitt will shine. Get the right mix of receiving TE, and another top receiver in FA or the draft and this will be exciting

When you put it like that…

Why are some teams always in playoff contention
indyagent17 replied to indyagent17's topic in Colts Football
Friends I was just asking a question. It is interesting that some teams every year are always in the playoffs or barely miss. It’s about a culture and sometimes when you go out and get all the nice guys with good character work out and sometimes you need that player with a little nasty that will compete with vengeance. I’m not a coach I’m not a general manager and someone question my love for the team I’ve been a season-ticket holder since 1990 I love this team I have set through horrible defeats and waited till the end before I left but I’ve also seen some miraculous plays. Our team has made over the years which makes up for it. We’re at crossroads right now waiting to see if anthony can stay healthy and give us the same kind of chance to win that Stroud does, I feel that Richardson will be special. We’ve already seen glimpses. He just needs to make sure that he avoids heavy contact when running the ball. Have a great day fans -
Why are some teams always in playoff contention
indyagent17 replied to indyagent17's topic in Colts Football
I’m talking about San Francisco being a team that dominates for a while they go away but they come back again and again -
I’ve been putting a lot of thought to this just thinking about it how come Pittsburgh has never had a losing season. Why was the New England so good for so many years? Why is San Francisco always competing for championship? It’s because they have great owners that their general managers on the team. Great coaching from the entire staff and steller scouting. Rarely missing on draft picks
-
So wonderful, my company is based out of Dallas and every year they brag how good their team is incredible regular seasons, but it’s always hilarious when they flame out in the playoffs like they always do. It’s so comical I think uncle Bill will be the coach next year in Dallas McCarthy will get the boots soon and I mean soon
-
Looking at Houston they just destroyed the Browns. Stroud is having a magical season and his teammates rally around him. They look like they could beat anybody. I miss that feeling we had here years ago decade of magic with hopes of winning it all so many times. Really hope Richardson can be that spark that leads us to a bright future. I sure hope Ballard does not mess up free agency or the draft. Huge offseason
-
Couldn’t sake that was a beating today. They destroyed the Browns. I bet Carolina is just kicking themselves now for taking Bryce. That was going to be probably the stupidest trades of all time you had all summer to pick and you chose the wrong one. I bet Minshew would do a better job than him.
-
Nope, not new players. how do you think defenses get better? It’s all about scheme it’s all about philosophy first. if you have a lay 7-10 yards philosophy it’s never gonna work. We have defensive backs with a good speed. Just be aggressive being passive is never gonna win us a championship again. Good offenses get you into the playoffs. Great defenses win the Super Bowl It didn’t work for Gilmore and it won’t for any other that we have. We can’t simply play so passive.
-
But all of us disagree with the fact that, for as many years, I can remember our defensive coordinators have always played way off the ball and we always get sick about how they drape all over us and don’t give us any room to catch. That’s the coordinator that I want there is gonna be risks but if you’re gonna give up 25 to 30 points a game, let receivers go off the hook for over 100 yards every game so how risky is it to change? As Venturi said we make kingmakers out of very average quarterbacks. Look who we lost to this year. It’s sickening Cincinnati tore us up with Browning and then they got popped the next week Atlanta rain all over us in the Bears in the next week. It’s all about defense and intimidation right now we have nothing to brag about in our truly the laughingstock of the NFL and have been for a very long time with this defense
-
What do you think Andrew retired? Not because he wanted to go skiing because he was hurt too much. He would throw himself headfirst in the tackles and that ended his career. Yes, he was reckless at times, and Richardson needs to learn from that. When he was running that touchdown and he started slowing down that’s when he got hit and that causes first concussion and play the game smart
-
We had Gilmore last year. How was the defense? Correct horrible we have fast and quick, defensive backs just like most the league does but look how they play man on man with us and look how we just have the after you approach if you can’t see that I don’t know what to tell you and you have been watching Colts football for long
