Lineman getting trashed on the runs.

Like the way our defenders were playing. Step for step with the receivers. That pass rush however…

Smart decision, if no one is open don’t force it. Just take off. Receivers gotta get open.

If we can get vintage Leonard back on the field, I feel really good about our LBers. We just need a pass rush and secondary now..... eesh.
Am i the only one who is low key really quite worried about our defense? I have hopes for the pass rush, but not high ones, and that would be even more straining on our DBs.... I can see us giving up a lot of infuriating 3rd and longs, or our DBs just straight up getting shredded.
I’ve been saying that we might have a pretty bad defense due to our defensive backs. Only defensive back I’m sure about is Julian Blackmon and that’s if he stays healthy.
If our pass rush comes through then I have no worries, but if not, just say to yourself this is developmental year. That’s what I’ve been telling myself to get ready for the season.

Rookie: Josh Downs
This will be one of ARs security blankets. I think what will separate him from his other targets is his ability to get open. I think AR will show teams he can go deep so once teams begin to back off, that’s when Downs will shine. Hopefully he has his hands together because the preseason has me a little scared.
Non-Rookie Offense: Raimann
This choice would’ve been AP but he had a BAD preason. Might’ve went with Granson also but idk, our TE group is just too much of an unknown right now. So I’ll go with the LT. He’s playing next to one of if not the best guard in the NFL, he’s had a full offseason, he’s put on weight, and had a good preseason. I think Raimann is poised for a breakout. I don’t think he’ll be lights out but he’ll be good enough to sure up that left side and be a middle of the pack LT.
Non-Rookie Defense: Kwitty Paye
This is one of my bets to myself, this is the year Kwitty stays healthy. When he plays, he’s shown he can get it done, but that’s WHEN he plays. Not much to say about him since he’s been here, just gotta stay healthy.

That’s fair. My personal floor is 4 and ceiling is 7. Depending on injuries I’d bet the floor.

If anything, he has to be a professional and the best thing for him to do is go out there prove his worth. Not playing is doing nothing but hurting him.

I think a good year by ARs standard would be:
- 3000 passing yards
- 800 rushing yards
- 20 touchdowns (passing), 5 touchdowns (rushing)
- 15 interceptions
- 65% completion

It’s really the only choice Shane has for the time being. Hate to put everything on the rookie but Anthony will need to make some plays to open up the running lanes for his backs.
honestly, this may be a blessing. If AR could survive and improve while things aren’t good, he’ll be great when we have everything in order. Kind of the opposite of what happened to Jalen hurts lol- 1

It’s all about drags, post and whether or not they are going to play press man. 90% of the field is A.I so play to their weakness lol
that’s what I usually resort to when they shut everything down. It’s so cheesy lol. Posts usually work for me too if the line hasn’t broke down. -

Yep that’s what I was telling someone on Twitter. It’s not his arm mechanics it’s inconsistent footwork.
I know it’s hard for him. Not because of his lack of experience, because he knows he can take off and outrun the defense at any second loljk

I like our QB and our top 3 WR. I like our tight ends too. But the depth is horrific all over this team. I don’t know who half these players are.
regarding the WRs, the potential is there but we haven’t seen it pop yet. I like them too, for what they can be. But right now they’re unknowns. And if pierces season is like his preseason, we’re doomed.I like our tight ends also but again, see above. The one we think can become something special is hurt, Granson looked good but IS he good?, and mo is pretty much an extra OL atp. Once again, on paper, it’s just meh.
and agreed on the depth. Maybe they’re using the waiver wire for depth but still it worries

we may be in a deal for a real receiver for jt
I hope so, people have figured out how to stop me on madden lol. MPJ isn’t good enough to beat the other team best corner, McKenzie has speed but not really good route running, and Pierce can get open with his speed but any contested catch deep he drops it…if AR isn’t overthrowing him. Which is very weird because the deep ball is/was ARs bread and butter. Wonder why madden made his deep ball accuracy so low. -

I like the analogy Jemez just said on the radio. Colts feel like a team full of expansion team players lol.
when you think about it, it’s true lol. At this point, what is our identity? We’re almost as vanilla as it gets outside of a raw freakish qb. We have so much potential if the players we think are going to pan out will pan out, but on paper…we’re just meh. Lol

They waived Isaiah McKenzie? Down to just 3 WRs now lol
what the heck is going on? I hope what the other post that was saying sometimes players get released and brought back to make roster changes happens because this is crazy. -

You can but you can’t be traded while on PUP and you don’t gain a year vested which will hurt him getting to free agency.
pretty much his choices are to play his way into a new contract, or lose money. Seems like an easy decision to me but for some reason him and his agent wants to make this harder.
-
Oh well, I get to keep using him on Madden. He’s a BEAST on madden lol. With his speed, strength, and juke stick, he eats up yards.
-
No, even if we have a bad season I don’t think one is needed. We’re not up against the cap so no need to shed contracts either. The people we want locked up are and those who have contracts coming up they will not break the bank. We need to keep pieces here to keep building. If those pieces aren’t preventing us from building this team then they should stay.

We’ll see, I don’t expect them to get home with what you said, but I’d like to see more disengaging.
