One team looks prepared, the other team doesn't. No way do I think the Jags roster is better than ours.

Wow Ryan. Just wow
-
Hines is an absolute matchup nightmare. If he has a LB on him, give him the ball. If not, audible to a run. Hines needs to be special for this offense to continue to elevate

I am LOVING seeing Hines catch passes! He is a mismatch nightmare and FINALLY Reich is realizing it

Dear Frank Reich, take the darn points!

Frank's found his reading glasses and now sees the playbook.
playcalling has been MUCH better this half. Last year, Reich would’ve kept letting wentz play backyard football-

I've noticed the same. I think its because they've been getting blasted by the Texans' DBs as soon as they get their hands on the ball.
yup, agreed. But still, have to play the ball aggressively. Ryan is putting it there. Receivers gotta make the plays. -

frank should of kicked the field goal earlier would of been 4 point game
yup, Reich once again one of the reasons why we may lose this game.-

One thing I don’t like is most of our receivers are body catching. I’ve seen some passes where if the receiver played the ball more aggressively it would’ve been a catch but instead a drop. Hopefully Reggie sees the same

Reich does not have this team ready again……. The front office consistently overrates the talent on this roster. Throws too much of the cap dollars to the wrong positions. Ryan does not look good so far
tbh, Ryan looks ok. Can’t help a receiver dropped the ball and another couldn’t make a play on a deep ball. Playcalling looks to be the issue right now, like almost every year for us.-

This team is not prepared. That is obvious. I said Wentz and Reich were the problem last year and since we don’t have Wentz and still have the SAME problems it’s obvious Reich is STILL the problem.

u mean Bills
No, giving Christian Kirk 4yrs/$72 mill with a $21.5 mill cap hit screwed the market. If Kirk is worth a $21 mill cap hit, diggs is worth every bit of $30 mill

Jaguars really screwed the WR market lol
Diggs signed a 4/$70 mill contract. Worth up to $104 mill lol

I saw that PFF has the Colts as the 2nd most improved team in the NFL right below the Broncos. For how quiet and displeased most of us have been with this FA that's pretty impressive. I would still like to grab Mathieu if the price is right and maybe OBJ/Duane Brown. Mathieu is such a polarizing player in the nfl, I believe his presence would convince some middle tier defensive players to come here for the cheap and OBJ tweeted earlier about being a fan of the Ryan trade to Colts.
the thing about this team is that it isn’t necessarily a bad team. We just had mediocre to bad players in the most important spots: QB, WR, DE. So for us, making one move is the same as another team making several moves.
despite his shortcomings, ballard has put this team in position to make or break. We have the qb, we have the de, now we just need that wr. Add some depth and I think this team does better than last year.

I would have absolutely gave the 6th for Woods. He is a good WR. Ballard might have reached out who knows. We are t making many moves tho I know that.
I do thin MPJ is good. I do think if he's healthy PC can become probably the best slot WR in the league, but after that...that's it. When you compare our WR room to other teams we are definitely in the bottom. Woods would've definitely upgraded this room and for a 6th round pick and his contract I think it would've been worth it. Maybe Ballard has eyes on someone in the draft. Who knows.

Ballard said he liked the WR group he has. He said he would still add competition but I think the draft is what he is looking at. Apparently he wants to keep cap room for the mid tier guys in the next two weeks.
liking the group you have is ok, but we should always be looking to improve. And I’m a ballard fan. Maybe he’s banking on Parris being healthy again. I don’t know. Like what would a 6th round in pick 2023 would’ve costed us? -
Woods for a 6th round pick? I mean I know he’s hurt but we weren’t interested? Maybe OBJ? Are the Colts even looking?

I’m surprised that CLE got him for that package if it is reported ATL offered the same. ATL has a much higher draft position
All about who Watson wanted to go to. At this point, the pressure was now on Texans to get the deal done before the browns use that as leverage -

I had to stop myself yesterday from writing an angry Ballard after seeing some of the moves teams were making. Once I took another dive into the remaining free agent pool it's pretty crazy how much talent is still out there. WR is starting to get a bit shallow but with the Rams taking calls for Woods that's a possibility. Your guess is as good as mine for QB, I'm still a bit flabbergasted but am starting to think they like one of the rookies in the draft. Shoring up FS and adding a quality DB on paper puts us as one of the top D's in the nfl and we have a lot of quality pieces on offense but have glaring needs at Qb, WR2, and a TE.
Have some faith and take a look at the remaining FA's before you get too mad!!!!
this, only thing I’d say I’m disappointed in is not grabbing a WR and DB. But I can see why we couldn’t get one without having a QB. I could see moving up into the late first round and grabbing a receiver using our second and Washingtons 3rd. If we can grab a DB, I’d be ok.also thinking ballard might have his eye on a LT in the draft or Pryor is making the change.

The plan is simple, wait for Watson to make his move they make ours. If he picks the Saints it's Winston. If it's the Falcons, it's a trade for Ryan. Seems like Jimmy G is off the table, unless the Panthers jump in and grab one of the others first.
This is what I think is going down. -
@nflrums said Green Bay matched raiders offer but adams chose the raiders. Ouch. Wonder how Rodgers feeling right now.

I think we DO need to make the FA QB move sooner than later
makes sense for him to go to the rams. Get paid and a chance at the sb. Division got weaker also.
makes me think of OBJ on the way out. Also, not sure how hurt Winston is. Pretty sure we’ll see the next round of qbs go once the Watson domino fall

Wow! The Super Bowl Champion Rams are adding Allen Robinson on 3-year, $46.5 million deal.
crap, that isn’t a bad deal at all. Hopefully ballard is banking on pulling OBJ away or maybe he’s thinking about the draft. Being told this draft is deep in WRs. Wouldn’t mind grabbing another MPJ in the second round but man would’ve been happy grabbing Allen.
and we also don’t have a qb which probably dissuaded Allen if we were actually speaking with him

I honestly think Frank is a good HC, but he IS NOT a good OC. It's too much going on to be a HC and OC and if you're not SUPER good at either one then it makes it that much harder. Even Andy Reid in all of his greatness has Eric B as his OC. And Frank is not on either of their levels when it comes to HC'ing and OC'ing.
