There would have been more drives like that had Luck played that game. You know that Steeler defense is sorry. I have confidence we beat those guys with Luck. Show me somebody you can point to that we have no chance of winning against? All these playoff teams have some sizeable chinks in the armor. KC is about the most solid out of all of them.
The offense had no problems moving the ball....they just had issues scoring when inside the 5....that wouldn't have been the issue if Luck was playing.

notice how the interior of the line isn't a turnstile since he's been drafted. Sure there's been mistakes (he's a rookie and human) but overall he's a vast improvement over what they've had since Saturday retired and he'll only get better.

Jonathan Joseph possibly being out could be a huge help too.

ummm, they ran for 140 yards against the #4 rush D in the league. The run D was just fine this game.

he's still decently effective even after coming back from that injury. He's obviously not back to last years form but he's no slouch out there either. Next year will most likely him being back to full health.

and that helped the O line out tremendously too.....save for a drive or so, the O Line probably had it's best game of the season.

he may not be the pass rusher he used to be but he's still a very solid edge setter that's been missed since he's been out.

one thing to consider is that Grigson is still a young GM and has made his fair share of mistakes, but he's also had his fair share of hits too, If he can put together another draft like this past one and even the year before that then they'll be good to go. I'm really thinking he's learned from his mistakes but only time will tell.

if the Colts play like that again, or even like they did against Green Bay, they'll smoke Houston.

teams need guys like him.
Glad the Colts have him. He's not a superstar by any means but he brings constant effort and energy and actually does make plays from time to time. The D actually has improved some since he's been starting and playing more.

yep, constantly going for the big play hasn't helped. Especially when being blitzed. Shorter passes would help out tremendously. Honestly I'm not sure if it's the play calls or if that's just how Luck is wired and won't look short as often as he should if it's there.

That's why I'm hoping the Colts jump on them early. If they play the way they did at Green Bay, they should blow them out as the Jets don't have the caliber of qb Green Bay does. But if they toy around and let the Jets hang around, it could be a long night,

Personally I think it's tough to judge the Jets by the game vs NE.
Reason being is that playing NE is always their Super Bowl. No matter how bad the Jets are, they about always play NE tough and over and above what they usually do.
They are the type of team that if the Colts can jump on them early, I could see them folding up later on.
The Colts have been much better the last few weeks about starting fasts so we'll see how it goes.
Health is paramount so we'll see who's healthy and will be available.

Luck's injury sucks, but I'm actually more worried about Geathers and Vontae's injuries.

plus the O line has played MUCH better the last month or so. There's been a drastic drop in pressures and sacks.
