Until the lb corp is upgraded they won't go far.....with that said the other units still have lots of potential.....the OL is improving the secondary isn't as bad as it's being made to look....Luck is Luck...the D line isn't as bad as it seems.....the ilbs have been killing this team.

Actually I thought those referees were truly terrible! Calling flags on the smallest little things Glad we overcame!
And how many of them were on 3rd down that kept drives going for TN?

And the needless penalties. We need more discipline.
To be fair ALOT of those penalties were crap on a high level.
-
What are the chances there will be a nonsense pi call on the this drive?
-
Of course no call on that but any ticky tack stuff is called on colts

3rd and 2 and we throw to Devin Street?
Was wide open and should've caught it

You think theyd learn not to o go soft at the ends of the halves?
-
Would love to see a clock eating drive end with a td and colts get ball to start 2nd half.
-
reason I ask is because I actually think the D line and secondary is pretty solid. It's to bad the linebackers outside of Walden have either gotten old or just blow.
-
how deep is the draft potentially at linebackers?
-
This could also explain why the qb pressure stopped later in game. Because maggit is also week to week.
-
You know if his team had some competent linebackers other than Walden they'd be a far better D. The D line and secondary are actually pretty solid.

Players have bad game. The best have bad games. The key for him is not to string them together. He will have more bad games in his career. But I expect he will have more good game. 5 good games to 1 bad is about as good as it gets through 6 games
also Geathers had great coverage on that game tying td pass. O just made a great throw and Adams boned it up by trying to go for the ball.

it's surely possible.
There's still 10 games left and Houston has a history of choking the division away and TN is unproven.
So if the Colts can detach their heads from their rears in crunch time, anything is possible.

I swear the vast majority(not all) of those complaining up a storm rarely, if ever post when things are going well.

What " rose color sunshine report"?
you said something positive....those are not allowed apparently

I agree, the D line and secondary is not a weakness on this team for the most part. It's the linebackers that are killing this D. But I'm still miffed why they had Ferguson in during crunch time last night(the last drive during regulation) and not Gore or Turbin.

Walden makes plays but that's about it. And even when he created pressure they'd just turn around and run a screen or something underneath. Ayers had a sack on Osweiler but somehow Osweiler got out of it. I'd like to see Ayers get more playing time.
I would too, and I'm surprised teams just don't keep running screens. They haven't stopped a screen in ages.
But yes, I forgot about Walden, I'll leave him out of the bad group lol

I can't stand Mcnary and there is nothing behind him that is anything better. The answer is not Morrison and Edwin Jackson is green behind the ears. Wouldn't mind seeing Ayers take over for Mcnary, but I think Ayers may bring more value as a pass rusher.
I know people will blame the D line, but the linebackers have been nowhere to be seen. Either the OLB and the ILBs
-
I'd like to see what the D can do with competent linebackers.
the D line is pretty good and the secondary is too. But the linebackers are killing this team.

No the colts could still run the ball they choose not to and got away from it again, They were getting chunks against a tired Houston defense, And started to play pass happy again with the game on the line instead of picting the ball and cut back runs
and I'm wondering if it's Luck calling out of run plays into pass plays or they O is just getting pass happy. Hard to tell.

I wonder how much the injuries to the receivers and Allen played a part in what happened late in the game. Maybe the Texans D knew the Colts were thin there and had the chance to tee off finally.

I'd rather have a statue out there than McNary
