I can't believe I remember that one, but it was incredible. Loved opening the game with a bang!!!
I remember Bob Sanders destroying people that game.

I think that basically doubles our sack count for the year lol, so yeah I'd say a season high.
Colts have moved up to the middle of the pack in sacks now with 22
and the O line is getting better....they're not last in sacks given up anymore and are improving each week.
-
I will say this.....we can't get on them about slow starts lately that has been the bane of this team for so long.
now maintaining it is the next step.
-
If the Colts play the way they did against Green Bay, they'll stomp TN.

I know nothing about him, but I'm guessing he's better than McNary.
Score!
a tackling dummy is better in coverage than McNary.
McNary's decent on special teams but has a negative value on D.
-
If the Colts even play a slightly better game than they did in TN, they'll smoke them.
and that includes keeping Josh McNary as far away from the field on D and from Delanie Walker as possible.

Well thank you Mr. Obvious(Philbin) I believe that is the coaches job is to teach them, develop drills to help them and work on getting better at things like handling twists.
I still think though the line is heading in the right direction. There are times they looking really good. There are times they look really bad as well but those times are getting fewer and fewer every week.
that and I knew there would be growing pains with half the line being either rookies or 2nd year players. They just need time to gel and I think they're doing that.
-
Keep Josh McNary as far away from the field as possible on defense and the D should allow far few points this time around.
-
Colts did it @ Green Bay at least.
-
this doesn't mean Colts won't make a play for him at the end of the year.....they'll be flush with cash.

How can someone hold with a clubbed hand?

Honestly that was a pretty ticky tack call on AC.... there's much worse that's never called

Looks to be another draft loaded with talent at some positions of need. Dice may role in our favor with very good players of need in lower rounds
I'm thinking the same thing.....OL heavy last year (Colts did a great job there it looks like)....pass rushers, lb's and running backs seem to be deep on this one.

Moncrief and we possibly get Allen back? Let's GO!
and don't forget possibly Zach Kerr, Henry Anderson, Jack Mewhort, and Phillip Dorsett too.

Yeah this is unfortunately true.
I want to see more Edwin Jackson in at ILB and more Ayers at OLB. They seem to be the only two who have showed much of anything outside of Walden from our LB corps....I do too...I mean anything that upgrades the linebackers will improve the D overall.
with this offense, the D only has to be solid to win a lot more games.

-
yes they have upgraded at a few positions, unfortunately the linebackers are so downgraded that they're bringing the whole unit down with them.

We want the Titans to win this so we will throw late flags like crazy on both sides of the ball against you guys.
and we don't even care if the person we call the infraction on isn't even in the game.

He should apologize more to the Colts for his play this year.
-
What I liked about this is that the also showed defensive returns against the offense that also factored into the points given up. Remember earlier in the season there were 3 returns that the O gave up which has been cleaned up. Now this doesn't absolve the D by any means because they're still pretty poor but it does put it into a bit more perspective. So if those were factored in they'd be closer to top 20 in ppg instead of 27th.
-
to be fair the refs did gift TN on some of those drives with crap pi calls.
-
I will say this, the D did hold TN to 20-30 yards UNDER their per game average this year.
-
he shouldn't see the field except on special teams.....on D he has no redeeming value to his play, it's always negative.
-
contrary to what some think, they actually do have a few pieces in place along the D line and secondary. The Lb corp is what's killing them. Walden is solid so no complaints there. Now Ayers is flashing so I'm hoping he gets more playing time and keep Mathis limited to passing downs. The ILBs are a cluster though...DQ got old (though still makes a play here and there) Morrison is a rookie and is decent so far against the run but the complete opposite against the pass. McNary, on the other hand, is an abortion and shouldn't see any other playing time except on special teams. There's NO redeeming value to his play, it's only negative. Edwin Jackson should get his spots now.
I'm wondering what the linebacking draft prospects there are next year? I think that's where they'll hit in the draft.

which could make this offense go from very good to scary good.
