  1. The Patriots will have home field in Germany as they have a german player on their roster... and the colts are one big questionmark right now... not that the Patriots are any better, bc they are not... but for the patriots it just can´t become much worse and they always plays well against the colts. so sorry to be outta my mind for saying that we are gonna lose to the patriots and a lot of the other games....
  2. we wont win the next game against the best D# in 40 years, which the browns have. Our best player is who? Nelson? Just don´t find this colts team that good right now...:(
  3. Hello Colts fans.... Well... with Anthony Richardson´s injury which looks like season ending, and though we have a decent backup QB in Minshew.... it looks like we are heading towards another top 10 draft pick. Why so? well looking at our remaining schedule I see us going 3-8 (6-11) at best. (Yes, im not as optimistic as other colts fans in here, so sorry for that opinion) Cleveland L Saints W AT Panthers W AT Patriots L Bucks L AT Titans L AT Bengals L Steelers L AT Falcons L Raiders W Texans L A 6-11 record will put us in the ballpark of a top 7-10 draft pick, so we might get a chance to get a really great young player once again. So for the sake of this argument, what position should we or what is our biggest need? And should we just go all in and throw a bunch of picks after a player like Marvin Harrison Jr? Of course the 2024 draft is a long way from now, but given the situation with AR, this season looks to be yet another one, where the colts don't seem to make the playoffs, which in my opinion could have looked different with AR in the field. So colts fans... how is the mood and am I being to unrealistic?
  4. So it's not okay to be honest? I might not live in Indianapolis but in Denmark, but I have been a die hard colts fan for more than 25 years, so a down period like the one we have had in the last 4-5 years dont make me cheer for another team. Do I like what the colts are doing? Well that's not the point... what I am saying is just that the other teams in our division are on a trajectory that will make winning the afc south very difficult for the colts in the next 8-10 years. CJ Stroud might be the best QB drafted in the last 2-3 years, and Trevor Lawrence is a stud that will only get better. We drafted AR because of his raw talent, that reminded our new HC of Jalen Hurts, just bigger, faster and stronger... but as a QB... AR is just another version of RGIII, Cam Newton and Michael Vick, that all ended their careers with injuries... okay, vick wrecked his by having dog fights. Im not saying AR is a bad QB, but availability is key for a team that want's to win a super bowl, and having a QB that run directly into a brick wall just don't ends well. Andrew Luck could have been a hall of fame QB and won a super bowl, but we made him quit as he ran into the injury wall over and over again, due to the way he played. Tom Brady was never asked to run like a headless chicken like AR, and Brady won 7 Super Bowls. I bet that neither Houston nor Jaguars want to risk their QB´s health by letting them run like AR, as they utilize their QB intelligently and not like the colts. Honestly... we need to stop screwing things up, when we finally get a great QB prospect... AR will end up like Andrew Luck, and then were back at looking for another QB we can thrash.
  5. Top 5 pick is coming our way again.... AR wont last long as he's made of glass and well.... things trend i the wrong direction right now Texans got CJ Stroud, Jags got Jennifer Lawrence and Titans likely gonna draft a new QB next year, which make us the worst team in the division again.
  6. Biggest QB in the NFL... but he´s made of Glass and won´t last more than 3 seasons, which bring us close to get our hands on Arch Manning God I hope we suck the year he´s in the draft, so we can team him up with Marvin Harrison jr.
  7. Okay... well... then my bold prediction will be: We win game 1 at New England with 28-23 after being down 23-0 going into the 4th quarter. Steichen let's Richardson loose and he thrash the pats with 4 rushing TD´s grind the goal post after the win, while singing Bahamens song - Who let the dogs out ;)
  8. Well.... the bold predictions all the way from Denmark is here. I have looked at three things, that in my opinion, can/will affect the outcome of our season. 1. Who do we play? 2. What to expect from AR? 3. Our Strengths and Weaknesses? So here we go. 1. We play the 4th weakest schedule in 2023, which in many ways gives us a better chance to win some games in 2023. Besides Burrow, Lamar, Jennifer Lawrence (2 games) and Deshaun Watson, we don't really face any great QB's, that really scares me. 2. Well, I don't think that Steichen will throw the entire playbook after AR in the first half of the season, and that AR needs time to settle in. So I'll expect them to focus on his throws early on, and keep it simple with a high dose of JT in the first half of the season. I honestly don't think they will let AR loose and make him run that much, so unless he just explodes and teams can't find a way to stop him, I think AR will have a rather mediocre rookie season. 3. Our Defence is hard to judge right now, as it in my opinion depends a lot of Shaq Leonards status and I honestly don't know, how good or bad our D# is. The O-line took a huge step back and again, does it become better or worse this season is really hard to predict. What we do know, is that AR will have way better WR's to throw to, and that JT will be ready to ball out this season, so our offence will be okay and competitive enough to win us some games. I do miss a Greg Olsen kind of TE, like Cam Newton had in Carolina, so thats in my opinion our weakest position on the offensive side. With all that said, I predict that we will go 6-11 or 7-10 in 2023, which in my opinion will be okay. Any better record than that will be a huge success fo me, as I just don't believe that we are that close to be competitive as some argue that the colts are. We simply lack to many playmakers in key positions for us to be competitive this coming season.
  9. Am I 100% sold on Anthony Richardson.... NO But I am very excited about his character and that we didn't pick Will "Bathroom" Levis. AR is the new breed of QB´s in this league, and though no other high mobile QB beside Patrick Mahomes have won the super Bowl, it´s trending toward a highly mobile / running QB winning it all. Colin Kaepernick was the first to get close, then Cam Newton, then it was Jalen Hurts and maybe Anthony Richardson down the line can succeed in what those dudes did not manage to do. Does the colts and AR have a long way? Heck yeah, but so does 14 other teams in the AFC when Mahomes is there. Manning had to overcome Brady, Roethlisberger and the Charges to come close, while Brady had to get help from the league office to succeed. But compared to Stroud, Young and Levis, I honestly think that AR has the best chance of those 4 to win a superbowl, due to his size and the situation he's been put in.
  10. Hello fellow Colts fans Now the 2023 draft is in the books, it's time to look toward the upcoming season. We now know that Anthony Richardson (AR) will be our QB for the future and that Shane Steichen is our new HC, so things are changing in Indy. I don't believe that AR will have the impact like Andrew Luck, who turned a 2-14 team into a 11-5 team and made the playoffs in his rookie season, while throwing for 4374 years, 23 TD's and 18 Int. Nor do I think AR will have a season like Peyton Manning, with 26 TD's and 28 Int's. What I do think could be more likely, is that AR will rush for 8-12 TD's, while throwing for 18-22 TD's, and that we end up with a record of 5-12 or 6-11 or at best 8-9. I know it's way too soon to speculate in these things, but if AR ands up in the ballpark of these stats, I would look at his rookie season as a success. Will we play him day 1... no one knows, but I hope we for once have a season with more positives than negatives. So Colts nation... how do you look at the future for our team and what do you look forward to the most, now that we have our QB for the future? Go Colts
  11. Hes a combination of shawn merriman, bob sanders and Pat McAfee , great player
  12. Ballard is still trying to trade back so we can draft Marvin Harrison jrr next year ;) it´s all part of the plan ;)
  13. what did we get in retun for the 5th round trade with vikings?
  14. Steichen is a no nonsense guy compared to Reich who only talked about the damn mountain we had to climb. Steichen will not make all kinds of excuses like Reich did, as he already seems more of a leader and a coach that will and can ignite our players. To be honest, Reich never struck me as a guy that could rip a player apart if he didn't do his job. Steichen won't flinch and will immediately tell the player and put his foot down. He´s just more of the coach we need compared to Reich. And lastly, he´s just damn smart and very articulate.
  15. we trade back till ballard and the colts have enough picks to go get Marvin Harrison jr in 2024
  16. Rams take Hendon hooker whos better overall and just a better fit. Levis has ruined his draft with nude photos and a bad attitude, so dont be suprised if he drops to round 3
  17. Im excited about AR as our QB, with that said.... I really hope steichen can develop him into a great player within the next 3-5 years.
  18. Just don´t hope they reach for a QB... but to be honest I think we end up taking a QB that will fail big time. AR could be our pick, and if so... I see a lot of Jamarcus Russel in him and fear we pick him or levis... hope we take the best player av and dont make a reach.
  19. Fields is not our next QB.... He will end up as RGIII who smashed his knee due to the way he played the game. Fields is not great as a passer, and not accurate enough to make shane steichen succesful. We have the 4th pick in the draft and there are better QB prospects in this years draft, than what we might get in a fields trade.
  20. Well outside of the US, the Danish TV channel - TV2 Sport - shows the most number of NFL games in the world, with at least 5 games each week. NFL have been shown on a regular basis on danish TV since 1999 on a regular basis, where the TV station bought the rights after Morten Andersen (2nd all time in points and hall of famer from Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints) kicked Falcons in their first super bowl. So in Denmark NFL is quite huge, and we have a pretty large NFL fan base, a growing American Football League that gets better and better for each year. We might not have many NFL players, and currently we only have Hjalte Froholdt from the Cleveland Browns in the NFL, but as the sport continues to get bigger here in Denmark, more and more young talented players go to the US to play american football in both high school and colleges, we will soon have more danish players in the NFL. Fun fact, the Indianapolis Colts had a danish player on their practice squad a couple of years ago in Tackle - Andreas Knappe. He never played for the colts, and was released and then signed by the Denver Broncos. So im no NFL noob and know a thing or two about the game, and follow it as closely from a far as I can. Furthermore I have a large Colts tattoo on my arm, which is inspired by Pat Mcafees hit on trindon holliday. After I got my Tattoo I sent a picture to Pat and he actually responded and messaged to me, and wrote he was blown away by it, which is think was pretty cool.
  21. There are no franchise QB in this draft... i dont see any of the top three Levis, Stroud or Young to become a franchise QB... they look more like sam darnold, trey lance and jordan love to me.... Honestly, this might be the worst QB draft in many years and only due to lack of real talent and really needy QB teams, we will see a run at QB´s early in the draft.
  22. Well, if we want to win a super bowl again, Arch Manning is our best hope. I know we wont get him, as we draft a decent QB in this years draft and become a mediocre team.... but thee team that land arch manning will dominate the NFL in the next 10-12 years when he enters the league. neightmare... not a dream but nightmare
  23. I want Arch Manning, so dont care if we suck till he enters the draft ;)
