I just remember Radar. Whatever you needed in Korea that was impossible to get, Radar would get his hands on it.

And those bubble helicopters of course.

Radar was a favorite of mine!

Yes, it was Cyanide....it also coined the term, "Drinking the Kool Aide" when refering to someone believing deception.

Good one Ruston Rifle. Really what the guy did was so sick and evil! Misleading people there and tragic end!:(

    4. southwest1

      southwest1

Yep, that guy was seriously messed up indeed.

Then again, sometimes, I think StarBucks fanatics are cult like too. I can't believe what people will pay for a styrofoam cup with coffee & cream in it, but I digress...

Mike Wallace was one hades of an investigate reporter. He sat down with everybody. Kings, presidents, dictators, politicians, you name it.

Mike didn't take grief from anybody & he knew how to challenge heads of state when he thought he wasn't being told the truth. Man, I wish reporters today had half the courage & moxy Mike did. Journalists have no teeth anymore.

You know where you hear a song it's original form by the actual artist & it bothers you because you know it sounds familiar but from where? I'm referring to Billy Stewart's classic "Summertime" BTW.

Then, it hit me. "Stuck On You" the movie starring Matt Damon & Greg Kinnear with actress Meryl Streep...Want proof?

Whew, now I feel better. You really perplexed me on that one for a minute JPPT. :D

      Great stuff as always JPPT!

I believe "Bette Davis Eyes" is 1 of Jules's sentimental favorites. I could easily see her dancing to this classic at her wedding. A timeless track that never ages.

I can't remember stuff I'm supposed to get at the grocery store, but song lyrics are burned into my brain like branding cattle on a ranch man.

As a genre, it gets picked on a lot, but there were some really solid songs from that era.
