I like the 49ers in the Super Bowl. This will be a revenge game for them. A chance to rewrite history for the one that got away with a bad quarter vs KC a few years ago.

The teams that haven’t been here before have looked like it with key mistakes. The experienced teams made the plays. That’s why experience matters.

I don’t agree with that. Other things happened like the Lions started dropping the ball like crazy, the 49ers front started winning the battle vs the Lions oline and the 49ers started getting off blocks and flying to the ball. It’s not always that the other team lets up sometimes the other team starts playing better.

Not to be lost in this Aaron Glenn’s defense has completely melted down. They mentioned in the first half they were playing situations regardless of how the 49ers lined up. Then they started trying to match up with the 49ers and Purdy feasted and they did nothing to get him out of it.

Yeah it’s no sense of how the game is going either. All the momentum in the world is against you on the road. Kick the field goal and take a little wind out of the 49ers sails and make them respond and maybe get your team going. Instead you just hand the game to the 49ers.

That’s six points he’s cost them because you just have to go for it… I know it’s boring but there is a reason why Dungy always took the points and it worked out more often than not.

Fair enough I can get that. That’s how I felt about the Chiefs and Ravens today. I just watched the game and didn’t have a particular rooting interest.

Yeah but I think you are confusing not being bothered by the Chiefs as meaning people are rooting for them. I don’t mind the Chiefs and respect their greatness but I am not actively cheering for them, unless they play the Pats or them winning some how helps the Colts. However days like today that have neither of those factors I just watch and enjoy. I wasn’t really cheering for KC or the Ravens. I wouldn’t have been bothered by either winning and wasn’t particularly on either teams side. In the Super Bowl I’ll be pulling for the Lions or 49ers but that’s just because I like those two teams. If the Chiefs win though I won’t mind. I don’t dislike the Chiefs. I don’t particularly like them either but I do respect their greatness.
