Vikings gonna be so disappointed to learn next week that this only happens against the Saints...

Â
And now the Minnesota hype train begins!!Â
Â
Here's my guarantee ahead of time...If the Vikings do make the playoffs, I promise that they will lose and either blame it all on the field goal kicker (1998 NFCCG vs Atlanta, vs Seattle a few years ago), or the refs (Drew Pearson hail mary!!!) or something stupid like 'Bountygate' (Saints NFCCG)....I hate this team and their whiny fans so much, cause nothing is ever their fault. They can never just take responsibility for losing. No, it's always someone else's fault or they make up a conspiracy like they did with Bountygate. They're the Hillary Clinton of NFL teams - they think they've automatically won in the playoffs before the game is even played, and then have a laundry list of people and things to blame when it don't go their way.Â
Â
GO PACK GO...WIN THAT EASY DIVISION AND SEND THEM HOME CRYING IN PURPLE RAIN.Â

Would rather give MVP to little Isaiah Thomas. Celtics are second in the east too while the Thunder are 7th in the West.
Â
And yeah the Cavs will be better later. Keep an eye on the Raptors though too since the Celtics struggle with them as well. Had Celtics/Raptors on last night and the C's were up by 17 at one point but still ended up losing the game.
-
There was a Celtics game last week I didn't see where they played the Bulls and everyone went nuts on how jobbed the Celtics got at the end of the game. Bulls are 7th in the east I just seen, so Boston or Cleveland may get them in the first round of the playoffs.
Â
Cleveland would be fine, but this is why I worry about Boston.Â

R.I.P. Miguel Ferrer, underrated actor in a number of stuff back in the 80's and mostly known for NCIS these days.Â

From Star Trek

From Robo CopÂ

Â
He was in a lot of stuff. Voice actor too, and mostly known for TV shows like Crossing Jordan and NCIS. One of those little known names lurking in movies putting up memorable performances as secondary characters.Â
Â
He actually was in Miami Vice twice. He's in season 5, I just don't have the DVD set to do a screen cap. He had a little part in season 4, but an episode where he played a villain in season 5.Â
Â
He was a big villain for NCIS, which fans of that series were worried months ago when his last appearance had him slurring lines and speaking badly. They thought he suffered a stroke but he died of throat cancer and had been suffering for a while.Â

Thanks for your additional insights on actor Miguel Ferrer Bogie. I apologize for not replying sooner. I have to be in the right mood to stroll through status updates. I wasn't ignoring you or anything like that.Â
Â
Yeah, voice over work can be quite lucrative too. A distinctive voice can generate a nice, steady paycheck long after Hollywood bad boy roles start drying up.Â

The small talk banter between Chewy & Han after the wookie is released from confinement is awesome like 2 best friends who pretend to get on each other nerves but would do anything to save the other 1 if he had to.Â
Â
That's why I love that scene in Empire Strikes Back just before Han is frozen in carbonite . A lot of people focus on Solo's line to Leah "I know" regarding her love for Han, which is funny. However, what resonates with me in that scene is Han telling Chewy "You have to take care of the Princess now. There will be another time [when we fight back] okay."Â
Â
Han the macho guy shares a brief tender moment with Chewbacca just before handcuffs get placed on him where the audience can feel the devotion Solo has to Chewy that goes deeper than a best friend. It's a brotherhood man & both Han & Chewy would do anything to protect the other one. When Chewy moans after Han is frozen, we feel his pain as an audience.Â
Â
Your Star Wars fan film briefly tapped into that devotion to the other one. When Han & Chewy are walking off saying "lets go get the Millennium Falcon back" I laughed.Â
Â
Chewy isn't just some loyal sidekick or pet. He's family & a brother from another mother to Solo. He's an equal in Han's eyes. Although Solo would never say it out loud, Chewy means more to him than loot, money, adventure, loose women, his ship, or his own safety.Â
Â
Not enough writers focus their attention on the dynamic between Han Solo & Chewbacca in my estimation.Â

Â
When I seen this video, I was so impressed with the actor playing Han. He nails the body language, the facial expression, the snarky smart butt style of his speech and pretty much everything. There is a true sense of love for the character and Star Wars in general within that video.Â
Â
I especially love when he points his finger and says "now, we made a deal!" That is sooooooo Harrison Ford. The actor playing him in this video definitely did his home work and studied that stuff to nail it down to a T.Â
Â
Â
In love with Star Wars right now, I feel like my childhood has been resurrected and with the erasing of the terrible prequels. Rogue One was awesome, it was so much better than the Force Awakens.Â
-
Well said Bogie. The guy playing Solo in that clip does do a marvelous job & encapsulating his gambling/risk taking persona down as well as honoring a gentlemen's agreement between thieves & smugglers to a T my friend.Â
Â
I trust your film critic reviewing skills Bogie. So, a thumbs up from you regarding 'Rogue One' means a lot & it carries considerable weight to me. It sounds like the plot represents something new, fresh, & original for once. Sweet!Â

Dak will be starting for Dallas, I wish him the best. The kid looks amazing, and hopefully he feels he can take the empire all by himself.Â

Romo is in a back brace and he has a broken bone in his neck and the team still is not giving up him coming back later. Sigh......
He got hurt last year twice and gets hurt in his first preseason drive. Very sad stuff. And he has been hurt in the past before too as we know.
Â
I hope Dak is ready, he looked good in preseason so far but he is so young and now he has Cowboys nation wanting him to become the next big thing.
Â
I was looking for a suprise NFC team, perhaps it can be the Cowboys with Dak instead of the Rams with Goff? Rams look to have some issues on offense big time still. And I have had no idea who to pick to win the NFC East.
Â
Rams are planning to start Case Keenum again week 1 and thats a good thing for Goff but this hardly spells out PLAYOFFS. And the Rams o line is GARBAGE. Keenum actually almost got hurt vs. Denver in preseason too.
-
Sorry to hear that you suffer from Chronic back pain like Tony Romo Bogie.Â
Â
I agree that Dak Prescott is the Cowboys future. I still deplore Dallas as a football team, but Dak is extremely talented as a QB & a nice kid.Â
Â
I love your Empire Strikes Back Luke Skywalker picture & all, but given my disdain for Dallas in general, I couldn't bring myself to like your 1st post. Sorry my friend. I did like another one though.Â

Happy Birthday Jules!!!

Half dollar is a better actor than I thought he'd be, catching up on movies this week.Â

Neo-Soul is to the new generation what Contemporary R&B was in my youth. Same thing, different name.Â

Have a lot to be thankful for today...especially now that the Saints have a field goal kicker.

I miss House M.D. Making more use of my DVR than ever, recording old episodes and watching them this morning.

That ending to True Detective left in tears.

Burgundy Mist is my favorite Fender color, just cause it's purple...and now Squier puts them on the Classic Vibe 60 Strats...for under 500 dollars; now that is a guitar you dream about, cause it's affordable

Very cool indeed!
-
They look awesome. I'm a sucker for anything purple, have always wanted a purple guitar.
They put it on the Classic Vibe 60's strats that are affordable. And that's the best thing about going cheap on guitars, you get a better selection of colors. Fender is so overpriced these days, I doubt I will ever buy anything from them again. I just don't see where an American made strat is worth 1,200 dollars.

Matching headstock too

I had a discussion about neon colors with guitars with someone last week. It is cool to see all those bright colors making comebacks.

Well I did it, The Colts won the Super Bowl in Tecmo Super Bowl. Closest Super Bowl I have ever played. 16-14, Colts win on a last second field goal. The Cowboys defense made it a very tough game. Offense was non factor as Aikman was shut down most the game, except Emmitt Smith had some breaks.

No I don't know how to record games. It was a crappy game though. The Colts lone TD came from a blocked punt by some unknown DB by the name of Jason Belser. I blocked 2 punts, that was 10 points, of my total 16. Dallas could have won the game after a Jeff George pick put them at the Colts 30, and they got down to the 22 but Lin Elliot missed it. That set up the George drive that resulted in the 52 yard game winning FG.

Thanks, I will check it out for sure. I have Jeff Beck's Blow By Blow, one of the few fusion records I fell in love with. I do like Wired a little more though, haven't checked out the other stuff Hammer did with him. Beck is a brilliant guitarist, for my money he's the closest thing to Hendrix there ever was.

My best friend, grew up together since the 5th grade. He's been stationed in Japan the last 3 years through the Marines, had not heard from him in some time and then out of no where he calls and says he's heading over. I could have done cart wheels if my back would let me!
Southwest I know what you mean. I've been following those stories for quite some time on PTSD's and some of the medical treatment for our soldiers. My friend is through the marines and has alr...
