  1. I spent most of the game feeling that Minshew was playing terribly. He was terrible in the red zone . Missed an easy TD throw to Pierce He did come through at the end and is a gamer . What won the game was consecutive blocked punts and we STILL would have lost if not for a missed extra point. He made a great and a very nice throw in the overtime but that really doesn't wipe out 4 quarters of bad play. This gives me hope that with Richardson and Flowers back next year , this team might very well be good. Head coach is a huge upgrade too. Negative side is this division will be tough next year and maybe the 7-5 record is mostly the result of an easy schedule.
  2. Yes.. I was just venting on the Pallo post I guess. I never , ever post that kind of crap in replying to a post.
  3. Excuse me as I should have said Braden . Let's see how perfect your mind works when you're 74.
  4. I looked up his game log and you are correct , he hasn't missed nearly as much time as I thought.
  5. 1) agree 2) agree 3) we do get Flowers back next year and he was our #1 CB. So a little more depth there and if we resign Moore , we have 4 CB. But .. yes we could spend draft capital on the CB position. 4) I think another LB is worthy of a day 1 or day 2 pick as I think Olubi is just a fringe player. 5) yep 6) Evan Hull looked like a legit backup before the injury but maybe worth a day 3 pick. 7) Agree and Smith is very expensive while being injury prone
  6. Anyone hear anything on the severity of his knee injury ? Nice player but maybe just too brittle to earn his paycheck ?
  7. Yep and that's why QB's often fall really far in drafts . You need 4 Wr's , 5 O Line , 5 DL , 3 LB , 9 DB's and 2 TE's but basically you need 1 QB. Those are obviously approximations I made.
  8. Huge bad beat that Stewart will be back the following week. I just can't envision stopping that tank running between the tackles without him.
  9. I noticed a camera shot of him wincing after one of his runs. Did anyone else see that ?
  10. I apologize to all the blacksmiths in the country. It was a kind of tongue in cheek remark but some people would rather make a big deal out of a harmless remark. You're right , it wasn't a good analogy and I should have known someone would make an issue out of it. You should block me.
  11. Dunno.... but here's what I found. It takes approximately 14 to 16 years to become a neurosurgeon, including pre-med (undergrad) education, medical school, internship and residency. Neurosurgeons undergo one of the longest training periods of any medical specialty due to the complexity of the field of medicine. Within the United States, the cost of applying to neurosurgical residency alone costs approximately $10,000,6 and neurosurgical training can cost $1,200,000 for a single resident over the course of their seven year training (Gordon et al., 2020). Although not required, completing a two-year associate's degree in an area like industrial technology, ironworking, welding, applied science or metal working can help you develop a standard knowledge of practices you need to work as a blacksmith.Aug 2, 2023. LOL as I know you're playing around. Just thought I would have some fun too.
  12. Of coarse they will have the "ability" to use say 5 million of a 255 million $ salary cap on Moss. It's my opinion they will use it on a more pressing need as they have already committed 14 mill to JT. Plus as you infer , Moss might choose to sign with a team that does not have a JT caliber RB on their team.
  13. If they didn't have so many good players hitting free agency , I might agree with you. If they decide to ket Pittman go , I would think I slight chance of Moss staying. Otherwise , just too many players to sign and then throw in the fact we need a CB , an upgrade at safety and probably another LB makes me think no way. We can draft a #2 RB on day 3. This can't be a RB by committee next year.
  14. When the Colts paid Hines , Taylor was in his rookie deal. Big difference now.....
  15. Insane that Young was taken at 1.1. Average at best arm talent and is tiny by NFL standards. I really believe that if he had thrown at the combine , he's at best the 3rd QB taken. Kind of screwed us as it's said that Teper forced his team into taking Young over Stroud. Now we have to deal with Stroud. Then again , maybe texans take Richardson at 2 ?
  16. I would expect Moss to end up with a 2 year deal for around 11mill. What's your thinking ?
  17. My point was that Taylor was worth the money. I did mention Moss , so I understand your post. I wasn't knocking Moss , just trying to point out that Taylor's runs were special . Would you agree that teams will play the run a little more with Taylor in the game ?
  18. I would hope not and that was not the point of my thread. Anyone that thinks that will only aggravate you in a discussion as it's pretty lame.
  19. In your opinion how much will the guy Buffalo traded for a kick off returner get paid ? I'll write this page # down and we will revisit it when Moss is signed.
  20. Yep and his runs were insane today. Most of them were all JT.
  21. Moss will be a FA next year. Let's see if the league views him the same as you ?
  22. Your opinion they both played the same.
  23. Ok... here ya go. The post I answered inferred that Moss was closed to Taylor as a RB. I said comparng Moss to Taylor is like comparing a brain surgeon to a blacksmith >.That would mean that in my opinion Taylor is much more skilled than Moss. i
