The prevailing rumor is that Frank wanted Stroud, but Tepper wanted Young and forced the pick. Based on the scenes we saw of the Panthers' staff with Stroud at his pro-day, I thought it was a foregone conclusion that they were taking Stroud, which makes me believe those rumors are true. Add in how much of an impatient meddler Tepper is. Add to it that he just fired the HC and Asst Coach of his MLS team after they made the playoffs in the team's first season in existence. Dude made his money as a hedge fund manager, so he expects immediate results and hasn't shown the ability for having the patience needed to build a successful sports team. Carolina will be the worst team in the league year after year until Tepper steps back from personnel decisions.

I don't remember seeing him in on any of the sacks.

As soon as I saw Q pull, I got way too hype. Definitely need more of those.

The bad coverage on Evans isn't Gus' fault. It's mainly been a rookie CB trying to cover a future HOF WR. Gus even schemed Evans out of that 3rd down play.

I don't think we need Minshew to get aggressive. I do think we need to have another drive like the last one. What I don't want to see is a run-run-pass-punt drive that gives TB another shot.

Moss was in position to pick up a blitz heading towards the pocket. Minshew unexpectantly rolling out changed the rush angle that put Moss out of position. 100% Minshew's fault.

Hopefully so. Some guys do well in spot play, but fall off a cliff when they're asked to play a large number of snaps. Here's hoping Speed keeps improving.

Gus has very much seemed more of a "force players into my scheme" vs "how can I fit my scheme to make the most of the talent of the players" kind of coach. We've seen some minor tweaks to the scheme, but he's pretty rigid about it and I think that's a disadvantage in the league at this point.

I have a hard time saying they did him dirty with how much we'll still be paying him for not playing for us. Maybe at the end of the day, the pay ends up evening out for the years of insane production while he was on his rookie deal. It must have come down to the conversation he had with the FO. We'll probably never know the full details, but more may come out in the next week or so. I have a feeling it was that he'd be inactive the rest of the season and released after the season and Leonard wasn't on board with that and asked to be released now.

SAME. Every weekend for the next 4-5 weeks..... I do use a backpack blower, which helps. If you look up at the top of the reply box where it has the B, I, U, etc.; on the far right side of that bar is a little box with GIF in it. If you click on that, it gives you the GIPHY search tool to search for GIFs and you just click/tap on the one you want to add. Don't have to worry about file size restrictions since it's an embedded feature.
