There was logic in it. After the TD it was 22-17. 1 point doesn't change much. 2 makes it so that if Tennessee scores a TD, they either tie it up or have to go for 2 themselves. It wasn't a bad decision at all, just a terrible decision by Minshew to not shovel pass the screen.

Yep and on the play Simmonds got hurt, he was at DE and absolutely blew Freeland up. Moss helped slow him down, but it was clear how much Freeland needs time in the weight room.
