HMMMM....as mentioned above....Kerr and McDonald come to mind for me....and had heard Purifoy was turning some heads.
Harrison too if needed....
Start the thread Brother your on here more than I can be.
-
Could be a thread lol, What long shots do you see shaking up things at camp ?
-
As we all know there is always a pleasant surprise or 2 ,that can change things in camp.
-
That is one way to keep Harvey on the roster....could be an indication that two tight ends will be utilized and the fullback is short yardage only....USE the weapons Pep!
Lol would not want to be on receiving end with him as fullback. :slaphead:
-
I liked Nevis but he wasn`t a fit from Paganos day 1 i was thinking.
You were not alone ,liked him as well.
-
I did not as yet see this posted, so here goes. Chappell is with the Colts every day covering, so some of his predictions are 'news' to me. Take a look for yourselves
Fullback? I personally like it....
Defensive backs.....HMMMM Only Cox as a rookie? Enjoy!!!
Really Brother hes almost spot on with my own and your predictions, dont see much changing barring injuries knock on wood.

As I've said before, I don't care what a 40 time is. I look at how fast they play and Brazill does not play anywhere as fast as TY. And when coming out of a break or making a move, he is much more sluggish and slower than Whalen. (Much meaning noticeably).
Neither does 90% of the league
-
His stats for that game were 7 receptions for 80 yards. He had his best game.
P.S. If you go back and watch the first Chiefs game, you'll be pleasantly surprised with how well Whalen played.
I doubt it lol he likes Whalen as do I
-
Well if I had it ,wouldn't use it it sucks
-
????
I need to watch again. He was good at punt returns.
He is in zero way near as physical as Brazill....watch LB on Special teams Slash.
Lol maybe they were watching 2 different people
-
Couldn't the same argument be made about Brett Favre as well Terry? Another soon to be HOF QB that you revered & hold in the highest esteem? Favre lost SBs or SB runs in 1998 & 2009 & without Desmond Howard's kickoff return for a TD Favre would have no ring period. Remember that Terry.
Also considering that you played with the 70's Steel Curtain during your career, don't you think that they played a large role in your overall success? Hmmm...
Garauntee that one bad A.. team

Very true. Which is a big reason why I think Whalen has a better shot of sticking with the team than Brazill. The Colts have Hilton and Moncrief to stretch the field. They have Wayne who will be in exactly the right place at the right time. They have Hicks whom they hope will become that player but until they do, they need another back-up for Wayne and Whalen is more like Wayne than Brazill. Brazill does not have the speed to stretch the field. He's not a good enough route runner to be in the exact right place and the exact right time. He has good speed and a good ST.
Brazill would have a lot more opportunities on a WR starved team like the Chiefs or the Bucs. Because I live in KC I see a lot of Chiefs stuff and with a team like the Chiefs, I think Brazill would do well and become that 600-800 yard a year receiver.
4.4 speed to be exact .Evidently stronger as well
-
Very true.
Could it weigh in ?Who knows camp will tell lol. One thing that worrys me a little beginning to wonder if Nicks is injury prone.
-
Also 2 total different type recievers
-
Never said he was bad. As far as most of his games being on ST... That's not true. He had two games after his suspension before Wayne got injured. People just think he didn't WR because he didn't really do anything until about 4 weeks after that. And then he never had a game over 3 receptions.
Could be lack of work and timing with first team .Grif has an advantage in that respect because of playing with Andrew in college
-
Lol we are in wrong thread for this discussion anyway
-
Ofcourse it will come down to camp, no one is saying anything different, but like in every thread on the forum you have people voicing their opinions.
As far as Brazill not playing much until late. He played in more games than Whalen did... So, when discussing what a player has done in the past, what else, besides stats do you use to discuss that?
Most of Brazils games were on ST punt and kick coverage, hes not half bad
-
Will say this Brazil didn't play much wideout till late and looked pretty good late your stats for this argument are about worthless, it will come down to camp.Barring injury would be inclined to give Brazil the nod for his overall game ,but I like them both.
-
Beware of cherry picking....ladders are dangerous....
Not to mention those cherrys look right down hefty.
-
I won't argue because I like them both too damned much. In some ways I wish we had not drafted a wide receiver in the 3rd.
Whalen was great returning punts too....and is a very nice possession receiver. So sue me if I like them both
Needless to say whoever departs someone snatches up right away and has a quality player. In the case of Brazil maybe a rising star.IMO his full potential has not been shown yet, totally up to him.
-
I am having a big problem with those overlooking Brazill. He showed hands and and some serious strength YAC last year....
Once again, he makes the team because of special teams too. He loves to hit...PAGANO LIKES! I do too.
Exactly
-
Apparently the Texans offensive plan is to ride Foster into the ground.
That suits me fine Brother lol
