  1. Some people are slamming Shipley.  All I can say is he fit in very well the last time (see GB Packer game) and to play guard if Holmes gets healthy is a plus.  Or...keep him at center.  I agree with you 8818!!

We have always been Shipley supporters ,He brings his best no matter where hes playing ,and is adequate where ever hes playing. We were ones who were not happy he left.Wether as a starter or backup glad to have him back.

  2. Glad to see them finally give up on Chandler Harnish. Wasn't any better than Curtis Painter was. What a waste of time and money. I think Eric Swoope has a lot of potential. Glad to see Shipley back. Depth was a concern. Still a little concerned about the safety position too.

Couldve lived with one less RB ,maybe make one of our Centers a long snapper wich frees up 2 positions .IMO the 2 should be DBs one safety ,one corner but we traded one of the corners we should've kept. All in all we are probably in pretty good shape.

  3. I disagree.  I think Rogers has more potential than that.  I think he has the potential to be a team's #1 receiver, but it's going to take a lot of work to reach that.  I wouldn't give him up for a 5th rounder

Ive got to agree . IMO id be hard pressed to trade him for a second or 3rd , cant see the logic in it. Reggie wont be here  much longer , so are we thinking of the future ?

  4. Logan Mankins,  who has been to the Pro Bowl for 5 straight years,  just got traded for a 4 and a very good tight end,  Tim Wright.

And now you think Da'Rick Rogers,  who officially has done very very little,  should get the Colts the same deal?    Seriously?

I think you might want to re-think that......................

Its all about supply and demand lol.

  5. IMO all 3 make this team She

All 3 of those names are all good players.

Kerr makes the team. He's got to.

Muamba is light years better than Sheppard (who isn't?), and was better in coverage than DQ.

Purifoy played really well and I think he's a step ahead of Burley. I also think he's better than Sheldon Price.

IMO they all 3 make it , with you my friend Sheppard is terrible at best.

  6. He looked horrible in the first game blowout to Buffalo.  I was watching him from the 40 yard-line (Could not afford 50 yard-line :funny:

He was slow to react to the football, was often caught out of position.  He was doing things I would expect a rookie to do...not a veteran.

As you know im not sold on him either ,but very much the opposite with Mc. , think he has a world of talent ,and gets after it the right way !

  7. The superbowl must have been rough for you haha

Actually no Lol Colts first but I was a winner either way :funny:  The best team won , without Hester it wasn't close ,Peyton schooled a very good D in that one. Ironic the Colts D sealed that one !

  8.    !!!!

I believe this may be why we get the Denver late game instead of the Bears.  I think Colts fans love watching one of the best quarterbacks to ever grace the football field.  The best QB at the line of scrimmage ever.

Yes would have to agree . Will always wish him well unless playing our Colts or the Bears.

  9. Some of you can sound so pathetic at times. Just admit you are Peyton only fans already and stop the charade, it's embarrassing. And I don't even care if my post either hurts any fandom "feelings" since I am saying what many think when they read this place with the worship of this team out west. One of the reasons why some give some here a tough time is because it is down right laughable to always build up these stat padding media darlings in Denver 24/7 even after they suffer one of the most embarrassing Super Bowl losses of all time.

I am not sure if we win week 1 but I hope we literally CRUSH those guys.

    Have some freaking faith.

Well put Jules I like Peyton always will ,but my Colts come first ,very happy and confident of the team we have ! Would I trade Luck ? Not on your life . Time will tell his legacy as well ,but believe it will be great.

  10. Actually, new England is our biggest obstacle. We are 0-2 against them in the last two seasons. Last time i checked we beat Denver last year

Good point lol        im outta likes !

  11. You have Chap occupying 2 for sure.  You almost have to double Arthur jones...You have holes for the LBs and possibly corners and safeties.  The 4-3 to 3-4 disguise and vice versa will be priceless......

Exactly all kind of problems for any offense .

  12. Pressure up the middle AND coverage. That is how Seattle did it. They never disguised. They were in their base defense the whole night and dared Manning to beat them. Not sure if the Colts have the personnel for that. But if you blitz without coverage then Peyton will tear you apart.

True but believe our coverage will be just fine.
