Yeah I'd give him a year before we really start doubting him. Now if next year comes and he's doesn't make an impact then I'll really start to doubt the pick. I'm usually pretty lenient on first year players.
I really do agree with you on all of this I just can't help but have ghosts of Hughes and Brown flying through my head.
-
Yep that seams like the right thing to do, again back to this "you can't see something is wrong if you are not a GM" thing around here.hit up irsay on twitter. im sure he will address it ASAP
Look here it is, I can't fix my car, I pay someone to do that but I dont have to be an ase certified mechanic to know that if it is leaking oil all over the ground that something is wrong.

Passion doesn't mean stupid. Be realistic.
That I will agree with. I am not on the fire PEP bandwagon. I am just tired of this team having some of the same issues year after year.
-
There is such a thing as constructive, or rational criticism. Something most of those losing their minds aren't engaging in.
Though feel free to jump into the "Fire Pep" thread, with all the other "normal" posters. I'll stay here with my marshmallows.
The post was clearly lost on you
-
So now people can't speak passionately on a fan forum? C'mon now. Be realistic here.
I had no idea you expected such a homogenized experience on a fan forum.
-
yes, panicking about something you have no control of seems logical. Carry on
Who is panicking? I am concerned.
Negative does not equal about to kill myself.
We won, I am happy about that.
Some things that we did or did not do today I am not happy about.
-
I still haven't figured out if acknowledging anything negative that happened is allowed or is it considered overreacting?
Around here? Nothing.
People also think because you have something negative to say that you are on the edge of a bridge ready to jump.
I guess the people who are positive must by riding rainbow unicorns with lucky charms marshmallows coming out of there butts.
-
I think the reason I and others here have (in your opinion) overreacted is because this is the same old defense we have seen, last year it was Brandon Marshall who destroyed us, the same old o-line that we have been wishing we would be better for years now.
It is only 1 game and we won,but you are allowed to react the way you want and I can react the way I want.
I am tired of this team having the same problems, can they fix them, sure. Right now though they look like a team with all the same problems
-
Nope this wasn't a win, this was an escape.
-
Not sure there were lots of positives.
Honestly this could have been any game the colts have played in the last 6 years.
Carried by the quarterback. Mathis with a big sack near the end and bethea with a clutch pick.
Sooner or later we need to show that we are a different team.
-
Qb, Mathis and bethea down the stretch. Okay that tune again Sam

Great hustle by rjf

I am not sure mcglynn could make a block in tic tac toe

Man... the amount of people in the chat who are overreacting is quite hilarious.
Overreacting to what the absolute garbage that is on the field right now?
They made moves so this wouldn't look like the same old colts and guess what just like for the past 15 years of our quarterback doesn't play like the best player in the world this team is garbage
-
Sheppard is slow as hell.
-
If this o line could block anything right now it would be amazing.
They are just awful.
The raiders are not good I don't care how you spin it.
Same offensive line that is horrible, same defense that can't stop anything.
If luck can't be amazing again this team is below average.
Why can't we ever have a complete team?
I know it's only the first game but I have played this record before.
-
Him & Golic = two empty suits
Why do you say that?
-
While I agree that DHB does drop some easy balls he also catches up to balls that he has no reason getting that close to that makes his drops seem like a bigger problem than they are.
-
I am not really sure how happy I am about Stinkenbach replacing McWindow
-
Good article, I hope he can make a solid contribution here.

You are stressing about your amused stress that i have about it.
I am sitting here watching the Sunday night game with a frosty beverage enjoying a win. No stress here.
