  1. Brown has that big break ability that could be key in this game for us.

He starts getting chunks (10-15) the safeties and corners will start keying in more and then a nice play action fake will do the trick.

I was rewatching the Chiefs game and on an early run from Donald, Hugh was pulling and when he went to pull he (Hugh) just stopped in the hole.  Donald ran right into his back, I guess thinking he was going to just charge through the hole to block, ya know like he is supposed to. And then you saw Donald after getting his 4 yards come back take his mouthpiece out and go right over to Hugh and say just go block what you are supposed to block.  I think it is telling that Brown is becoming a leader and we will need him to do just that if we are going to make a good run.

  2. At the half my wife got wings.

My kids, wife and brother sat eating in silence in the kitchen while I tried to eat in the living room.

As the game changed my entire house started getting excited. It was amazing. A great game.

    Luck is clutch.

T.y. is playing like Marvin, always open even when teams try to take him away.

    This was an instant classic

  3. These guys get a lot of abuse around here and I have to say some of it is warranted, however in rewatching some games they have been playing above their norms this year.

I thought the switch to 3-4 end would be good for Fili (he played it in college) and he has been better there than at DT in a 4-3.

Both of these guys are the type of guys you need on a team.  They are not your starters (Behind Redding and RJF) but the provide solid depth, hustle plays when on the field.

Neither of them will be studs but I am glad we have both.

  4. satele was avg . not elite center he under size center that's why get beat alot . McGlynn he above avg. center he has size a center . satele has few good games but rest are below avg. due too his size .

Points made good. U speak good

  5. In the 11 games with Satele as the starter at center, the Colts averaged 94.1 rushing yards per game and gave up 2.4 sacks per game.

In the 3 games that Satele missed, the Colts averaged 164.3 rushing yards per game and gave up 1.3 sacks per game.

While used to knock Satele, I think this is more of an effect of not having McGlynn at guard. When he is there, it brings the whole unit down. Moving him to center makes him more comfortable, and the other, more competent guards on the team can step up.

Im short, this says more about McGlynn the guard than Satele the center imo.

While I think McGlynn does play better at center, I think it is more of a product of not having both McGlynn and Satele in there together.  They do not work together.

I like what McGlynn brings when he is at center much more than either him at Guard or Satele at center.

What happens with the right guard in these next few games will be more interesting to me than the change at center.  I am reading into Pagano's change in attitude this week in regards to center as he acknowledges that McGlynn should be there so I am hoping that change is already cemented in.

  6. You're kidding right? What do you think defines a good passer? Because accuracy is as close to the top of that definition as you can get.

Backtrack as much as you'd like, doesn't change that fact that he is neither the worst passer, my words, or the most inaccurate one, your words. If you really think he is the most inaccurate EVER you don't understand what it is you're watching in QBs.

Nobody is backtracking anything, he is accurately inaccurate. Read them all again, comprehend the sentence. If you can't or don't comprehend that, then don't argue about it.

  7. I can name 10 worse passers in the NFL right now. You either don't watch as much football as you think. Or have no idea how to evaluate QBs to say Luck is the worst passer you have ever seen.

Your comprehension skills aren't that good.

He is the most inaccurate accurate passer.

    Try and comprehend that.

I never said he was the worst passer I have ever seen.

  8. You must watch virtually no football if that's the case.

Luck is accurately inaccurate. He gets the ball most of the time in the window for a good receiver to catch the ball but not to the point where these receivers can catch it.

I watch plenty of football, this is an opinion I stand by. Thanks for playing though, here is a lovely parting gift.

  9. Good loss? What game did you watch?

This was the game that let us know this team is a joke and doesn't stand a chance against a good team without a stud receiver (wayne)

There are some quarterbacks who make their receivers better, Luck is not that quarterback. He needs good receivers to make him look better.
