  1. I voted 2-0. Recently this team has responded well after a dominating loss, like how we pounded Pittsburgh after being embarrassed in Cincinnati. Both games being at home also helps, Pittman's concussion symptoms returned as he traveled to Atlanta so back to back-to-back games at LOS negate that possibility. If we win tomorrow, we'll go into the Houston game with a shot at the AFC South title even if Jacksonville does beat Carolina because Tennessee would be motivated to win their final game of the season, at home and playing the spoiler. If the Panthers do beat Jacksonville tomorrow and both us & Houston win, our Week 18 game could get flexed as it would be for the divisional title and the #4 (possibly even the 3) seed. I don't think it'll play out that way, I think we all win tomorrow and then all play at the same time next Sunday, scoreboard watching and rooting for Tennessee!
  2. Shaq didn’t start immediately for Philadelphia, he had 1 tackle apiece in the losses at Dallas & Seattle, and the only reason he started against the Giants was because both Zach Cunningham & Nick Morrow were injured. Either one of them heals up and it's likely back to the bench for Leonard.
  3. He certainly did - his lack of effort was magnified by the fact that had he blocked on that play, his teamate scores a touchdown and his team summarily lost the game by a large margin.
  4. I don't know, Pittman is a pretty good blocker too, that's how JT occasionally breaks off on long runs once he gets into the sceondary.
  5. I didn't say that the organization didn't assess Leonard's play, I was pointing out that while fans here in message boards were slamming his play because he had obviously lost a step (heck, yesterday he got his 1st sack since Rivers was here!) but the organization never publicly critisized him as he asserted that they had.
  6. Fans critiqued his play, the organization never did with the exception of reducing his snaps during games but as @Boondoggle stated, his name is what he put on film week after week.
  7. It's not like we could've traded him after October, and if we were able to weeks ago, it's unlikely that any contending team would've offered us anything of real value for him.
  8. Unless you want to give said player the opportunity to catch on with another team for a playoff run...
  9. As mentioned in another thread, Shaq looked good last night but he was making plays mostly while unblocked and against a subpar Giants team so I'm not ready to say that he's back to being the "Maniac" of old just yet. The Colts gave him every opportunity to demonstrate that he could still contribute at a high level and when they saw that he could not, I think they did him a favor by cutting him loose early enough for him to catch on with another playoff contenter this season where he wouldn't be asked to do as much as he was here, and showed that he no longer could. With our injuries piling up, I know we needed his roster spot for players who would produce for us but I maintain that we really hooked him up by not onl;y extending his contract while he was hurt, but then letting him go and hook up with the contender of his choosing and I would think he'd be a little more appreciative of us for that. We'll see if he's still running his gums when he gets exposed by a team that actually prepares for him, and illustrates why we had to let him go in the first place.
  10. That remains to be seen, he was making plays while unblocked against a subpar Giants team so I'm not ready to say that he's back to being the "Maniac" of old just yet. The Colts gave him every opportunity to demonstrate that he could still contribute at a high level and when they saw that they had more productive players than him, I think they did him a favor by cutting him loose early enough for him to catch on with another playoff contenter this season where he wouldn't be asked to do as much as he was here, and showed that he no longer could.
  11. It also shows that in this lost season for New England, Bill Belichick hasn't lost the team or the locker room. They're still playing hard for him in this, which is most likely his final season coaching them.
  12. When both kickers were blowing it in the 1st Half, I had a sneaking suspicion that 1 of them would win it with a late FG.
  13. At least NE has almost 3:00 to get the gamewinning score.
  14. After the offensive futility of the 1st Half, both teams have opened up the scoring spicket in the 2nd.
  15. Both kickers are having bad nights in this game!
  16. Another Mayfield to Evans touchdown, the Bucs now lead 20-0!
  17. After a Trevor Lawrence pick, Baker Mayfield throws a touchdown pass to Mike Evans.
  18. Greg Zuerlein kicked a gamewinning 54 yard field goal for the Jets with about 10 seconds remaining.
  19. And they were up 27-7 at halftime, but have been shut out in the 2nd Half.
  20. Jets punt the ball back to Washington trailing by 1, with just over 2:00 remaining.
  21. Brissett leads 3 touchdown drives in the 2nd Half and Washington now leads by a point!
