  1. Bad result in the Vikings at Bengals game, but if we win this one it won't really matter to us, we'd still control our destiny - GO COLTS!
  2. Agree - adding a lineman gives you other options, like avplay action pass like Shane likes to do with Franklin in the backfield but even if you do run it, you'd get more push or a better block from a lineman.
  3. Just get this game over in time for us to watch ours without delay!
  4. I guess this was better than a missed FG attempt, which would've given the Bengals an additional 10+ yards.
  5. We need that outcome - if the Bengals were to win this game, the would basically leapfrog whoever loses between us & Pittsburgh for the Wild Card spot.
  6. 30 seconds to try to get into FG range or close enough for a Hail Mary.
  7. They're at home, I think they'd take their chances with potential overtime, especially if there is time left on the clock for a potential FG drive.
  8. Disaster of a pick-six averted by a defensive offsides, and now the Vikings score a touchdown - that's basically a 14 point swing!
  9. At the beginning of the 4th Quarter the Vikings led by 2 touchdowns, and now the game is tied and the Bengals have all the momentum at home.
  10. Kellen Moore is in his 1st season with the Chargers, and Giff Smith is in his 7th. There is virtually no chance that the next Head Coach will be a first timer, so IMO there is no need for the team to evaluate Kellen in that role.

  12. I think it'll be the other way around - I think the next HC will have alot of input on who the GM will be, making the job a little more attractive.
  13. Telesco hired 3 Head Coaches, Mike McCoy, Anthony Lynn & Brandon Staley and they were all duds! The fact that Spanos made the move this quickly suggests he's going after a big name like Belichick or Harbaugh, and the fact that Telesco was run as well makes me think that whoever is next will have a ton of control.
  14. Actually, it was done about 2 years late and GM Tom Telesco also deserved to be run, for hiring Staley who had all of 1 year experience as the Rams' DC over guys like Brian Daboll who were also available at the time.
  15. The Raiders are only 10 points away from the NFL record of most points scored in a game, with roughly 13 minutes to go.
  16. Rivers may not have had a choice - Ballard may have told him that the team was pursuing other options and that he could return as a backup if he chose to, and he may have chosen to retire instead. At that point, Philip had nothing left to prove and besides, a Superbowl championship is a team accomplishment that coaches & quarterbacks get too much credit (or blame) for.
  17. Chubb was flagged for "Unsportsmanlike Conduct" for slamming his helmet, and he was upset for having tried and failed to tackle Levis, and watching him run for alot of yards as a result. As for taunting, I guess it's whatever the refs think a player is doing to show up an opponent.
  18. I don't dislike them in general, but when a player is flagged for "taunting" because they waved at a defender who they outran or looked down at a guy who they just knocked down, it seems kinda hypocritical because if you think about it, all of those other actions (like defenders all running to the end zone & posing after getting a turnover) could be considered taunting as well.
  19. If you score, you earn the right to celebrate IMO, I don't like seeing all the machinations from a player who simply did his job, like making a tackle or a catch.
  20. I think doing a sack dance or spinning the ball on the field after a reception is every bit as unsportsmanlike as slamming one's helmet out of frustration.
  21. Chubb was frustrated because Levis got away from his sack attempt for a long gainer, I don't feel he should've been penalized for expressing it.
  22. Looks like Hill rolled his ankle but he seems okay, he ran to the sideline.
  23. Not only did the much larger Zach Sieler get the pick six, he also got to run over Levis at the goal line.
