  1. I have been watching the Colts about 55 years, I am old an over the hill..... I'm trying to understand what you are actually saying, which reading again, I still have no idea what you are saying This defense is short a playmaking free safety This defense is short a LB This defense is short a stud DE This defense is short another solid CB (I hope they use the first rounder on Dejean) This offense very much needs a separation type, WR I am not a fan of the current DC, I think we could do better, but we do need some better players especially on defense What's your point again?
  2. Or a LB is added Or a stud DE is added
  3. I have no idea what they will do But IMHO We need a speedy separation WR to make sure that the other teams defense dont line up in 8 man boxes, like we saw again and again Higgins would seem to be exactly like Pittman, which isnt bad, but IMHO misses the need
  4. I understand the point, and who knows exactly how a WR in round 1 or round 2 will perform Pierce seems to have great straight line speed, but seems a bit stiff in going to the ball. I do believe that its 50/50 CB will trade back to get more picks I would also ask if interested, to watch some tape on Brian Thomas Leggette T Franklin Dez Walker AD Mitchell X Worthy These guys are all separation guys that are tough to cover and will force the FS to cover the top THAT action alone, will keep the defenses from bringing up everyone to stop the run
  5. Watch the tape on Cooper Dejean, he is 6 1 and 207. He is big and fast, and hits like a LB as well as stifles the other teams WR1 Also watch Nate Wiggins, who mirrors the WR like they are tied at the hip. He is also a 4.3 40 guy with amazing speed One or both would be available at 15. Dejean would be my choice, but both would immediately improve this defense Agreed I am leaning more and more to the Colts going with the best CB / DL available in round 1, even if Odunze is on the board. With Stroud, with Lawrence, we are going to need players to combat the pass happy competitors Brents is a rookie, that seems to have great upside for this defense, we have to have a CB on the other side as well that is tough to pass on. We also can use another LB that can defend the pass and blitz when rarely called We truly need a ball hawking FS to also make it tougher to pass on us. On offense, we need to invest in a C/G in later rounds, but there should be MANY choices of WR at round 2
  6. LOVE Edgerrin Cooper to the Colts - Round 2 or 3 Or, I would be happy with any of these in round 1 McKinstry - CB Nate Wiggens - CB Cooper Dejean - CB Latu - DE There will be excellent WRs available in round 2 (If we dont draft Cooper) One of D Walker A Mitchell X Worthy X Legette Troy Frankin These are all defense stretchers
  7. This EXACTLY the stance that he SHOULD take Let him test the market Do you really see him getting 24-25M from someone else.... I dont I fully believe that we HAVE to resign Pittman, but one of the measuring tools is yards per catch Pitman sits at 10.9 YPC Career Chase - Bengals - Yards per pass career (YPC) - 13.9 Davante Adams - YPC - 12.4 Cooper Cupp - YPC - 12.5 AJ Brown - YPC - 15.7 Amari Cooper - YPC - 14..2 T Hill - YPC - 15.1 Deebo - YPC 14.6 Dj Moore - YPC- 14.2 If you stayed with these numbers, and threw 100 passes in a season to T Hill and to Pittman, Hill would have 420 more yards per season on the same number of throws Pittman rarely gets YAC, that drives up the others averages I have called Pittman an awesome and excellent WR2, maybe the best in the league. But we STILL need that dynamic, speedy WR1 A speedy dependable WR1, will make sure that we wont see the dreaded 8 man box anymore Stack the box? We will go deep. Play nickel? We will run down your throat In fact, if someone else gets the attention, Pittman may just do BETTER than he has Taylor should get more yards as well
  8. Simulator. Love this one IND 15.Nate Wiggins CB Clemson 46. Xavier Legette WR South Carolina 82. Edgerrin Cooper LB Texas A&M 99. James Williams S Miami (FL) 144.Drake Nugent OC Michigan Sign a Top FA DE
  9. Ultimately I have no idea what CB will do..... He might take a kicker number 1 šŸ˜† However....... He is on record many times saying that he needs to build the team from the inside out (Meaning the lines) Its his philosophy, but you would think that he would HAVE to look at WR, CB, DL, LB, C, and FS for the early rounds of the draft
  10. The guy is a STUD He can blitz, he can cover, he rarely misses tackles He would be a great option in round 2 or 3
  11. I am all for it but have a gut feel that he will trade back for more picks and a later round 1 pick He likes to draft lineman in round 1 That seems like a Ballard move
  12. Absolutely agree Speed is a keeper as well but I am wondering if he should go back to SSLB and we draft a WSLB
  13. Great point, but there isnā€™t that canā€™t miss LB in this draft. There will be some LBs in round 2,3,and 4, that would start immediately
  14. Bingoā€¦. Way too stiff He should be a backup to give a breather to our two outside recievers
  15. IMHO Verse isnā€™t a sack leader but gets a huge amount of pressures I donā€™t believe that he is that needed difference maker that this team needs Koolaid would be awesome,,ā€¦. Sign me up for me a VERY hard pass on Keon Coleman This defense needs a separation type WRā€¦. To keep us away from the 8 man box that we see again and again and again Coleman is not that guyā€¦ā€¦. He is a jump ball contested catch guy I bet he runs a 4.6 40
  16. If we go defense Nate Wiggins and Cooper Dejean are on my shopping list at CB Dejean is 6ā€™1ā€ 207 lbs is like having an additional LB on the field Wiggens is 6ā€™2ā€ and has 4.3 range speed both would start day 1
  17. I have done the simulator 3 times and Odunze was there at 15 2 times
  18. Scary Terry would be a great option He might be available for a 2nd
  19. Who would you have in mind?
  20. Oh. Sorry. I thought you meant this year and the next 2 My mistake. I STILL think giving up 2 first round picks for a WR in this draft is too much
  21. Agree with some of this but This is an interesting draft I see the Colts trading back 5-6 spots to 20-25 and getting additional picks in round 2 or 3 all of these guy run 4.4 40 or betterā€¦ā€¦just what we need Brian Thomas X Worthy Leggette A Mitchell Troy Franklin
